1 Connotation and main characteristics of college students' socialization

The so-called socialization of human beings refers to the process that natural persons, as biological individuals, learn social culture, master social skills, form social concepts, adapt to social life, actively act on society and innovate social life and social culture. Socialization of college students refers to the process that college students master cultural knowledge and vocational skills, participate in social practice, adapt to social life, realize the balanced development of people and society, and become social people who can consciously fulfill their social roles through knowledge education and learning.

The socialization of college students is an important stage of human socialization. With the lifelong development of human socialization, the socialization of college students presents different characteristics from other periods. First of all, college students are in a period of continuous maturity of self-awareness and values, a period of gradual cultivation of political beliefs and ideals and beliefs, and the most important development stage of human socialization; Secondly, as the main body of socialization, college students are an important force to promote social progress. 2 the main problems of college students' socialization

Judging from the overall ideological quality of college students, contemporary college students can support China's socialist system, support the country's educational principles and policies, rationally analyze and treat various problems arising from reform, opening up and economic construction, have strong patriotic enthusiasm, national self-confidence, pride and social responsibility, and reflect positive, healthy and progressive ideological cultivation and cultural quality. However, we should also see that there are still many outstanding problems in the process of college students' socialization, such as the weakening of scientific socialism belief, the distortion of values, the expansion of individualism and liberalism, the utilitarian value orientation, psychological and personality obstacles, etc. These problems have greatly affected the process of college students' socialization.

2. 1 Insufficient political socialization

In the process of education and teaching in colleges and universities, the ideological and moral cultivation of college students is often ignored. Teachers, as disseminators, are more responsible for imparting professional basic knowledge, and moral education is mainly undertaken by teachers and counselors who serve as ideological and political theory courses. In recent years, the enrollment expansion of colleges and universities has led to the number of ideological and political teachers in colleges and universities far from meeting the needs of moral education in colleges and universities. A counselor has to take hundreds of students on average, and the imbalance between teachers and students has brought great challenges to ideological and political education in colleges and universities. For a long time, the teaching of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities in China has also tended to emphasize theory over moral education. Influenced by western values such as money worship, hedonism, individualism and liberalism, some college students have lost their political beliefs, deviated from the mainstream value orientation of society, weakened their sense of social responsibility and mission, and weakened their moral concepts.

2.2 Lack of socialization of life

First of all, thought is utilitarian. Influenced by western pragmatism and utilitarianism, the utilitarian tendency of college students' learning purpose and career choice is becoming more and more obvious. Many students pay too much attention to the pursuit of material interests, eager for quick success and instant benefit, and lack the spirit of overcoming difficulties, being proactive and self-reliant. Third, vulgarization of feelings. Love is sacred and great, but some students don't have a correct view of love. 2.3 Socialization of skills is not strong

First of all, college students' social practice ability is not enough. Many students spend too much time studying professional theoretical knowledge during school, and many students pay insufficient attention to participating in social practice activities. 3 ways to solve the problem of college students' socialization

3. 1 Do a good job in ideological and political education for college students

Strengthening ideological and political education of college students is the basis to solve the problem of socialization of college students. To strengthen the ideological and political education of college students, we should focus on the education of ideals and beliefs, strengthen the education of Marxist beliefs of college students, and make them establish firm political ideals and beliefs; We should focus on patriotism education, carry out extensive patriotism, socialism and collectivism education for students, carry forward the national spirit, and enhance national self-confidence and pride; It is necessary to strengthen the ideological and moral construction of college students and guide them to establish correct life ideals and values; It is necessary to strengthen the psychological health education of college students, combine psychological quality education with social psychological consultation, service and effective psychological crisis intervention means, enhance the psychological mediation ability of college students, and cultivate qualified talents with good political and psychological quality.

3.3 Strengthen social practice.

3.4 Strengthen vocational skills training

Expansion: the reason that hinders the socialization of college students

(A) exam-oriented education has squeezed the space for college students' socialization.

Exam-oriented education allows college students to habitually focus on book exams from an early age, and test their ability to take exams with standard answers instead of improvising. Compared with middle school, university is a relatively free space, and it is also a time for college students to shape their social consciousness and behavior habits. (2) The excessive protection of parents and teachers has delayed the socialization process of college students.

Out of love for their children, parents are generally lacking in cultivating their children's social consciousness. Without the good guidance of teachers, they will gradually degenerate into people who can't do great things and despise doing small things.

At the same time, college students have not received enough professional guidance in the process of participating in social activities. Specifically, before participating in the activity, I didn't collect a lot of information in related fields and master some relevant experiences and lessons; I don't give myself a clear will in the process of activities, and I easily quit when I encounter difficulties and depression, and it is easy to develop the habit of timidity; Do not know how to use the strength of the team when encountering problems; Will not take the initiative to expand their social contacts, seek more social support resources, and so on.
