How to improve students' civilized quality

Abstract: The anomie of middle school students' basic civilization quality has affected students' social image and aroused widespread concern in society. At present, the school is taking various measures to strengthen the education of basic civilization, so as to purify students' minds, standardize students' words and deeds and improve students' basic civilization quality. On the basis of investigating and summarizing the current situation of middle school students' basic civilization quality anomie, this paper simply analyzes the reasons for this phenomenon and focuses on exploring ways to improve middle school students' basic civilization quality.

Basic civilization refers to the most basic code of conduct, the cultivation of ideology, morality and sentiment in human society. In our life and study, due to various reasons, some middle school students have lost their basic civilized qualities, which are not suitable for the needs of social development and building a harmonious society. This is mainly manifested in the following two aspects: first, there are bad social ethics on campus, such as ignoring public order and good customs, weak economic awareness, weak environmental awareness, improper behavior and so on; Secondly, there are impolite phenomena, such as impoliteness, vulgar language and untidy appearance. There are many reasons for these phenomena, including society, families, schools and students themselves.

We must vigorously strengthen the basic civilization education of middle school students and strive to improve their civilization accomplishment. In the teaching process, we must adhere to the principles of convincing people with reason, moving people with emotion and guiding people with deeds. Specifically, we should start from the following four aspects:

First, learn from the beneficial experience of basic civilization education in western countries.

The overall planning of individual moral education for teenagers, most western countries have formulated and implemented the overall planning of moral education for kindergarten-primary school-middle school-university. Each stage is connected with each other, the theme of education content is distinct, step by step, and the whole education process is implemented in a planned, phased and step-by-step manner around the goal. Primary schools should focus on the education of basic civilization, etiquette, self-discipline, national consciousness, national feelings and collective thoughts, middle school students should focus on the education of life ideals, moral obligations, sense of responsibility, life values, patriotism and collectivism, and college students should focus on the education of ideals and beliefs, professionalism, professional ethics, national responsibility, historical responsibility, world outlook and life values.

Second, strengthen the construction of campus culture and create a good educational environment.

Campus cultural atmosphere and campus environment are potential classrooms of basic civilization education. Civilized, elegant, healthy and progressive campus cultural atmosphere plays a role in regulating, guiding, demonstrating, encouraging and restraining students' spiritual activities, and exerts a subtle influence on students, which can gradually correct some bad behaviors of students. We should give full play to the public opinion guidance and supervision role of various propaganda media. Such as radio, television, newspapers, billboards, windows, etc. Carry out various publicity and education activities, publicize advanced models in all aspects, publicize the principles and policies of Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory and the Party and the state, create a positive atmosphere of public opinion, guide students to develop healthily, and then improve the basic civilized quality of college students.

Third, change the monotonous indoctrination education method.

In the education of basic moral civilization, we should adhere to the necessary indoctrination, mainly through the teaching of Marxist theory, ideological morality, legal basis and other courses; It is also necessary to adopt interesting, contemporary and modern educational methods. First of all, moral education should be integrated into teaching and disciplines should be infiltrated. In teaching, we should pay attention to the "Tao-carrying role" and "infiltration role" of various disciplines and academic activities on basic civilization education. Secondly, entertaining education, paying attention to the artistry of education and the potential convergence of educational objects, strengthening basic civilization education by using mass media and film and television works, and carrying out basic civilization education through students' self-management, self-education, participation in social practice, debates, speeches, seminars, videos, reports, sketches, cartoons, photo exhibitions and other lively forms, so that students can receive education from them, thus achieving good educational results. Third, pay attention to fostering education. The cultivation of good behavior habits is not only the need for students to adapt to society and their own survival, but also the sense of order and responsibility that students can experience in the process of forming behavior habits. Finally, effectively carry out mental health education and improve personality. Carry out mental health education, help people solve problems, eliminate confusion and deviation, restore psychological balance, cultivate healthy mentality, and lay a solid psychological foundation for the formation of their good moral quality (especially the formation of high basic civilization quality).

Fourth, establish a reasonable restraint mechanism.

The education of basic civilization needs to strengthen the scientific management of the school, need the system as the guarantee, and use the system and management to restrain students' behavior, because the comprehensive improvement of students' basic civilized behavior cannot be achieved naturally, and it needs the long-term and arduous efforts of educators. Without strict and orderly management and system as a guarantee, it is impossible to achieve this educational goal. On the other hand, basic civilization education emphasizes facing all students, so that every student can improve basic civilization to the maximum extent. The task of school management and system construction is undoubtedly more arduous. Only by strengthening the daily management and system construction of the school and creating a civilized, harmonious and healthy educational environment can the basic civilized education be implemented smoothly and achieve satisfactory results. For example, students' daily behavior norms, student discipline regulations, moral reward and punishment mechanisms and other management regulations.

In a word, basic civilization education is an important breakthrough to improve the ideological and moral quality of middle school students, a demand for talents by social development and an inherent requirement for students' growth. Strengthening the education of basic civilization is a systematic project, which cannot be accomplished overnight. It is the task of the school, which needs the cooperation of the whole society and the all-round construction of students' learning. It is not enough to rely solely on school education, but also the joint efforts of the whole society. By strengthening the education of basic civilization, students can form good living habits, have good manners and noble moral sentiments, be truly "gentle" and realize the unity of inner beauty and outer beauty, thus establishing a good image of a new generation of students and playing a vanguard and exemplary role in the process of social civilization.
