Abstract: With the continuous development of social economy in China, China's demand for oil is also increasing. The development of petrochemical industry has played an important role in improving the national economy, but it also has certain dangers. Therefore, while the development scale of petrochemical enterprises is expanding, we should focus on strengthening the fire protection work of petrochemical enterprises. Starting from the fire safety problems existing in petrochemical enterprises, this paper puts forward relevant disposal methods to help petrochemical enterprises do a good job in fire safety management.

1 fire safety problems in petrochemical enterprises
1) Petrochemical enterprises with weak fire safety awareness generally operate under high temperature and high pressure, and the raw materials used and the products produced by them have great explosion possibility. However, at present, the managers of most petrochemical enterprises in China have a weak awareness of fire safety, and only pay attention to increasing the economic benefits of enterprises, ignoring the fire safety management of enterprises, resulting in some flammable and explosive chemicals not being effectively managed, and even affecting the sustainable development of chemical enterprises to a great extent.
2) The fire fighting infrastructure is not perfect. Due to the complexity of petrochemical enterprises, the chemical properties of raw materials and products and the particularity of production equipment, once a fire or explosion occurs in petrochemical enterprises, it will do great harm. However, at present, many petrochemical enterprises have imperfect fire fighting infrastructure, weak disaster resistance, insensitive fire alarm response, difficult water supply and many other problems.
3) Employees' fire extinguishing ability is low. Most petrochemical enterprises in China only gave superficial safety lectures on employees' fire-fighting ability, without further improving their fire-fighting skills. Therefore, workers in chemical enterprises lack systematic fire safety training and daily fire safety knowledge, and they don't know much about the explosion hazards of chemical equipment and chemicals, which leads to workers being in a hurry in the face of fire, delaying the best remedy opportunity, bringing huge losses to petrochemical enterprises and hindering the long-term development of chemical enterprises.
4) The enterprise fire safety management system is not perfect. Most domestic petrochemical enterprises pay attention to production and fail to formulate an efficient fire safety management system according to the actual situation of enterprises, which leads to unclear division of labor in dealing with fire incidents and ineffective implementation of related responsibilities, which ultimately causes huge losses to enterprises.
2 methods to solve the fire safety problems in chemical enterprises
1) Improve the fire safety awareness of enterprises. Petrochemical enterprises should first educate employees on fire safety and improve their awareness of fire safety. Chemical enterprises can exercise their coping ability in the face of fire by conducting fire safety drills, so that employees can realize the importance of fire safety management and actively learn fire safety knowledge. Secondly, chemical enterprises should formulate effective emergency countermeasures according to the actual production situation and the internal building structure of enterprises, strengthen the relationship between various departments of enterprises, promote the fire safety management of various departments in a reasonable and orderly manner, and comprehensively improve the fire safety awareness of petrochemical enterprises.
2) Formulate a scientific fire safety management system. Petrochemical enterprises should strictly abide by relevant regulations, formulate a scientific and reasonable fire safety management system based on their own development, and strictly implement it. Enterprises should also conduct regular inspections on raw materials and machinery facilities, which will help enterprises to find potential safety hazards in time and take effective measures, thus safeguarding the interests of enterprises. While clarifying the fire safety management system, chemical enterprises should implement relevant responsibilities so that every employee of the enterprise knows his responsibilities.
3) Improve the enterprise fire safety guarantee system. Petrochemical enterprises should change the present situation that fire safety is more important than form and establish a perfect fire control system. First of all, enterprises should improve the fire-fighting infrastructure and update fire-fighting facilities in time. For example, enterprises should choose water system or foam system to extinguish fire according to relevant regulations, or install a brand-new fire safety early warning system inside enterprises. Secondly, enterprises should promote fire management step by step, formulate perfect escape plans and aftermath disposal plans, and improve the fire safety protection system.
4) Improve the professional level of fire protection for employees. Petrochemical enterprises should strengthen the training of employees' fire fighting ability and improve their professional level of fire fighting. Chemical enterprises can first select employees with good physical fitness for professional fire-fighting skills training within the enterprise, or hire firefighters with high professional quality to guide employees, so as to provide human resources for the promotion of fire safety management in enterprises. Building a fire-fighting talent team with high professional level can effectively avoid the occurrence of fires and explosions, thus reducing casualties.
5) Do a good job in the rescue of enterprise fire scene. Chemical enterprises failed to tighten the valve of a certain equipment or failed to find other problems in time, resulting in a fire. At this point, firefighters should wear protective clothing, quickly rush to the scene of the fire, contact relevant staff in time, quickly grasp the nature of the combustible materials, fully understand the fire, estimate the scope of the fire, and delimit the warning area.
3 Conclusion
Solving the fire safety problem of petrochemical enterprises can effectively reduce the losses of enterprises and ensure the economic benefits of enterprises. China's petrochemical enterprises should improve the fire safety awareness, improve the fire safety infrastructure, formulate a scientific fire safety management system, improve the fire fighting ability of employees, and promote the orderly development of fire safety management, thus promoting the further development and progress of the petrochemical industry and improving the economic level of enterprises and countries.
