About persistent materials
Van Gogh stuck to his ideals.

Van Gogh, the greatest post-impressionist painter in the history of world art, fell in love with painting for accidental reasons. He decided to take painting as his only career in his life and fight for it. So he set up an easel at home and practiced endlessly. Father saw his graffiti and swore, "You can't even draw an arm. Do you still want to be a painter? " Forget it, useless thing. "Father's scolding didn't shake Van Gogh's determination to paint. Within a few years, he drew many sketches and oil paintings, such as The Potato Eater, The Woman on the River and Sunflower. But everyone sneered at Van Gogh's works. They can't accept the thrilling distortion and warm colors in their works. In order to insist on painting, Van Gogh was poor all his life, and only sold one painting before his death. However, many years after the death of the painter, the artistic charm and innovative consciousness reflected in his works were discovered by later generations. All his oil paintings, sketches and even the waste paper used for sketching at that time were collected into works of art overnight.

Success requires perseverance.

A young man went to Microsoft to apply for a job, but the company didn't advertise for a job. Seeing the general manager puzzled, the young man explained in broken English that he was passing by and rushed in. The general manager thought it was very new, so he made an exception and let him try it. The interview result was unexpected, and the young people performed poorly. His explanation to the general manager was that he had not prepared in advance. The general manager thought he was just looking for an excuse to go down the stairs, so he casually replied, "Try again when you are ready." A week later, the young man walked into the door of Microsoft again, and this time he failed. But compared with the first time, his performance is much better. The general manager gave him the same answer as last time: "Try again when you are ready." In this way, the young man stepped into the door of Microsoft five times and was finally hired by the company, becoming the key training object of the company.
