(1) The total population is about 9 million, accounting for 22% of Liaoning. It is about one million more than the resident population of Shenyang University, and is rich in human resources.
(2) In 2008, the GDP was 357.2 billion yuan, accounting for 27% of Liaoning. It's even with Shen Da. (In the same period, Shenyang was 385.5 billion yuan and Dalian was 38 1 billion yuan).
(3) The total population of the seven cities is about 4.5 million, much less than that of Shenyang University. But this shows that there is still a lot of room for urbanization in southern Liaoning.
Southern Liaoning is one of the regions with the best economic development prospects in Northeast China. The region has close economic ties, solid foundation, well-off people, industry, agriculture, tourism, ports, plains, mountains, woodlands, rivers, coasts, humanities and history.
The most important thing is that the development level of each city in this region is relatively high in Northeast China, and there is neither a drag nor a monopoly city, which will not lead to the situation of blood sucking and suppression. Anshan, the largest and strongest city, has relatively independent economic capacity, and there is no record of exploiting neighboring cities in history. The development of Niuzhuang Port will alleviate the development pressure brought by Yingkou before. Niuzhuang Port, Yingkou River Port and Liaobin Port are beneficial supplements. Everyone can communicate on an equal footing, and they can jointly resist the exploitation and suppression in Shenyang, and the competition in Dalian will really strive for the interests of southern Liaoning.
Southern Liaoning is blessed by nature. If we really think about the interests of southern Liaoning, let the people of this land make their own decisions, instead of tying southern Liaoning to Shenyang's planning to do supporting projects for each other.
After so many years of revitalizing the Northeast, the state and provincial governments should also give southern Liaoning a positive policy. Our own level of economic development determines that we can't always be a walk-on. Sunan is our role model, where Shanghai is the driving force and we have no one to drive it. Only by suppressing can our interests be safeguarded by our own group.
