China Academic Literature Database is one of the funded projects of National Science Digital Library of China Academy of Sciences. It is a service system of scientific and technological literature information resources based on network environment, and consists of nine literature information institutions, including China Academy of Sciences Literature Information Center, China Institute of Science and Technology Information, Institute of Mechanical Industry Information, Institute of Metallurgical Industry Information Standards, China Chemical Information Center, Institute of Agricultural Information of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Institute of Medical Information of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, National Standards Museum of China Standardization Institute, and Document Library of China Metrology Institute. With the goal of building a strategic support service system for national scientific and technological literature resources in the digital age, the center collects, summarizes and develops scientific and technological literature resources in the fields of science, engineering, agriculture and medicine according to the mechanism of "unified procurement, standardized processing, joint internet access and resource sharing", and provides universal scientific and technological literature information services for the whole country. It has collected tens of millions of academic papers and documents in the fields of mathematics, physics, chemistry, astronomy, geoscience, biology, agriculture and forestry science, medicine and health, engineering technology and environmental science in China.
