Measures to protect Dianchi Lake
The lotus leaves are pointed, the willows are hanging, and the calla lilies are in bloom ... Between the smelly and dirty Daqing River and Haihekou, the compound artificial ecological wetland in Fu Bao, which covers an area of about 20 mu, presents such a poetic landscape. The technological process of Fu Bao Composite Artificial Ecological Wetland, which covers an area of about 20 mu, consists of sewage pretreatment, floating plant pond, underflow stone filter bed, lotus pond and stabilization pond. Artificial restoration of biodiversity in the lakeside zone will gradually form a virtuous circle ecosystem in the construction area, improve self-purification ability and play a positive role in minimizing the amount of pollutants in polluted water. At the water inlet, the sewage flows into the primary sedimentation tank and passes through the wetland after being pretreated by the sewage project. The sewage gradually became clear and the fishy smell disappeared. Finally, the transparency of the effluent reaches 1 m and flows to Dianchi Lake. Over the past year, this artificial ecological wetland has purified 730,000 cubic meters of seawater, and the average removal rates of total nitrogen, total phosphorus and suspended solids in the influent are 49.8%, 62.9% and 48.6% respectively, which is equivalent to reducing the total nitrogen by nearly 10 ton and directly entering Dianchi Lake by 0.7 ton. When the typical combined urban sewage flows out of the wetland, it reaches four types of water. Most of the pollutants entering Dianchi Lake enter Dianchi Lake through more than 20 rivers, and the water quality of these rivers is worse than five categories, among which the rivers entering Dianchi Lake in 9 cities are the most polluted. As the first large-scale constructed wetland on the lakeside of Dianchi Lake, it provides corresponding design parameters and reference for the treatment effect of Dianchi Lake wetland construction, and will also play a demonstration and driving role in the treatment of other estuaries entering the lake.

At the same time, the pollution interception and treatment of Dianchi River is progressing smoothly. At present, the comprehensive renovation project of sewage interception and dredging in the middle and upper reaches of Panlong River, Daguan River, Tongming River and Cailian River has been completed. The comprehensive improvement projects of Daqing River and Caojian River are being implemented and are scheduled to be completed before the end of the year. It is planned to implement the comprehensive improvement project of Wulong River and Fangchuan River to effectively reduce the pollution load into the lake. On the other hand, Caohai Dongfeng Dam has returned 3.3 square kilometers to the pond and lake, expanding the water surface of Dianchi Lake. The second phase of comprehensive improvement project with wetland construction and ecological restoration as the main content is being implemented, and the landscape and water quality have been improved. The construction of Xiyuan Tunnel has realized the regulation and storage of sewage, accelerated the renewal of Caohai water body and reduced the pollution load in the open sea. Kunming Dianchi Management Bureau is organizing relevant departments to go all out to complete the comprehensive improvement of Caohai Dongfeng Dam by the end of this year, complete the second phase of closure, and do a good job in the management and protection of aquatic plants during the construction period; The sewage interception and pollution control project headquarters on the west bank of Dianchi Lake will speed up the implementation progress to ensure that it will be completed and put into operation simultaneously with Gaohai Highway; Then, some automatic water monitoring facilities for major rivers entering Yunnan should be set up as soon as possible, so as to timely and accurately grasp the water quality changes and create favorable conditions for comprehensive pollution control in Dianchi Lake.
