According to the understanding of the Academic Hall, journals that publish papers are mainly divided into provincial journals, national journals and core journals:
1, a provincial periodical
Provincial periodicals: periodicals sponsored by provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government and their subordinate ministries, commissions, departments and bureaus, and journals (periodicals) sponsored by universities and colleges.
2. National periodicals
Nationwide: Generally speaking, "national" periodicals include those sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the State Council and their subordinate departments, China Academy of Sciences, China Academy of Social Sciences, democratic parties and national people's organizations, and those sponsored by national professional societies. In addition, publications clearly marked with the words "national journals" and "core journals" can also be regarded as national publications.
3. Core journals
Core journals: Simply put, core journals are academic circles that track and evaluate the quality of journals through a set of scientific methods, and classify and grade journals according to information science theory, and call the most important level core journals.
Generally speaking, Chinese core periodicals refer to those included in the Outline of National Chinese Core Periodicals published by Peking University Library every four years.
