I am a man who came out of the mountains. She had a hard time at home when she was a child. I once heard my grandmother say that there was chaos in the late Qing Dynasty and the Republic of China. Grandpa Chen Zhongshan went to Xinchang town nearby to sell things, and suddenly he was robbed by bandits in a place called "Chen Ancestral Hall". In the course of the battle, because there were many bandits, at last, Grandpa was shot by the bandit leader. The sad news made the family cry. At that time, my father was just a seven-month-old baby. After wailing, father Chen Faquan was brought up by his grandmother with difficulty.
After liberation, my father married Yu Shufen, a virtuous mother. In those difficult days, my father and mother raised my brother and sister Chen while doing farm work. When I was two years old, my mother died suddenly because of illness. So, in order to make a living, my father had to remarry his stepmother, and his younger brothers Chen Xiangzhi, Chen Xiangfu and Chen Xiangfang were added to his family. In 1970s, the country changed from a waste age to an institutional economy age, and experienced ten years of turmoil. The family has also had a hard time, and life has not changed much, not to mention the grandfather and six brothers and sisters at home. A family of nine people, in the era when the production team was large and collective, had to eat and fill their stomachs. Mom and dad can only do the heaviest farm work of the production team during the day, and they can only get more food from the production team after changing production at the end of the year. These foods are not enough to feed our six brothers and sisters. As a result, my father had to do farm work in the production team during the day, cut down some trees on the hills at night, sell them in Xinchang ancient town, exchange money, and go to other people's homes to buy their extra "food stamps, cloth tickets and meat stamps" to subsidize their families. Even later, I went to the "Tiangong Temple" coal mine to dig coal, risking high-risk labor and changing money to support my family. Life is like this. 1978 I went to school at the age of seven, but the school conditions were still rather difficult. The school is about two kilometers away from home, and the mountain road is rugged. Walking on the road, the school is full of potholes. The school is very shabby, and the roof leaks on rainy days. It is often that two classes of students of different grades sit in the same classroom. In particular, the conditions of teachers are particularly poor and there are too few teachers. There are only two or three teachers in five grades. Then, only one teacher is needed to teach textbooks of different grades in an all-round way. Two students of different grades sit in the same classroom and talk about two classes of different grades in the same teaching practice every day. That is, during school, I get up every morning and go out to mow the grass, go home, eat, and then go to school. When I come home from school, I still cut pig grass and feed it to pigs, because I can only eat pigs during the New Year. At that time, the tuition fee for one semester was 3.5 yuan, but it was still unbearable for many families, not to mention all the brothers and sisters were studying at the same time. Although the book tuition is not paid on time, my father will earn some money bit by bit and finally pay off the book tuition that our brother and sister owe to the school. Sometimes when I see other students taking it to school for lunch and eating rice balls, I feel that what I take is just "corn buns", which is so different from others. So, when I went home and asked my mother for it, she said, "Son, my mother will make you a rice ball tomorrow, and you can take it to school for lunch." Sure enough, the next day, my mother really made some "rice balls" and baked them in the fire, and distributed them to our brothers and sisters to eat at school.
1984, the spring breeze of China's reform and opening up spread all over China. I was also admitted to Datong Middle School with excellent results. This is the beginning of my "teacher dream". Compared with Murakami school, commune school is far behind. I am determined to study hard, get a teacher's degree, and then go back to my hometown to be a teacher, so that more mountain children can go out of the mountains through reading. At that time, it was also my dream to walk out of the mountains by reading. When I was in middle school, I lived on campus and brought 30 kilograms of rice to the school every month. The school cooks in a unified way and gives 20 cents to eat vegetables every day. But we can also enjoy the spring breeze of reform and opening up. Because, before the reform and opening up, even if I was studying in a rural central school, my living conditions were even more difficult than now.
1988, finally admitted to Qionglai Normal University at that time. 199 1 After graduating from normal school in, I hurried back to my hometown of Zhonghua Village in Datong to teach primary school courses. That is, I said that we must teach the class well so that the children in the mountains can get good grades in the exam. Like me, getting out of the mountains is my goal. So I found someone to flip the messy rural teaching room, which is a top priority, and made a future plan for the mountain village school. Who knows that the social development is too fast, after two years, all rural studies have stopped, and students studying at the village level in the countryside have transferred to Datong Central School. I also transferred to Datong Town Central School to teach. At that time, I also gained a lover, married my colleague Zheng He and formed a beautiful family. Two years later, I had a lovely son, which also increased the happiness of my family. Although our family is ordinary, we have a happy heart. During the holiday after work, my family will go to the nearby ancient town to relax and relive the fun of life. My five brothers and sisters gave up the idea of studying and going out of the mountains, and have been farming and working outside to earn money to support their families.
In Datong central school, there is no shortage of teachers like rural schools, and there are enough teachers in the central school, each teaching according to the regular grade. At that time, there were many teachers and the competition was fierce. Some teachers have made a lot of money by going into business without pay. I, on the other hand, persisted because of the "teacher dream". Then how can we make children's academic performance go up? I found a way to make my children like me, so that they would listen carefully and get good grades. This method originated from the principle that when I study, I will listen to my favorite teacher carefully.
