Graduation thesis topic selection reason template
First of all, the topic is different from the topic. A subject usually refers to a major scientific research project of a certain discipline, and its research scope is much larger than the subject. For example, the construction of socialist spiritual civilization is a big topic, including many topics, such as the position and function of spiritual civilization, the content and characteristics of spiritual civilization, the relationship between spiritual civilization and material civilization, the development of culture, education and science in spiritual civilization, and the construction of ideological morality.
Secondly, the topic is different from the topic. Topic refers to the title of the paper, and its research scope is generally smaller than the topic. For example, if the author chooses the topic of ideological and political work in enterprises, he can choose many specific topics to write his thesis: the characteristics of ideological and political work in enterprises in the new period, the construction of party organizations in foreign-funded enterprises and so on.
Correct and appropriate topic selection is of great significance to writing graduation thesis. By selecting the topic, we can roughly see the author's research direction and academic level. Einstein once said that in the face of science, it is often more important to ask questions than to solve them? . Asking questions is the first step to solve problems. Choosing the right topic is equivalent to completing half of the thesis writing. Choosing a good topic can play a multiplier role.
First, the topic selection can determine the value and utility of graduation thesis. Of course, the achievement and value of graduation thesis will be evaluated by the final completion and objective utility of the article. But the topic selection plays an important role in it. Choosing a topic is not only a process of setting a topic and simply defining the scope for the article, but also a process of early scientific research. Choosing a good topic requires the author's thinking, comparison, deliberation and careful planning. Once the topic is selected, it shows that the outline of the paper has been roughly formed in the author's mind. As Zhang Shiying, a famous philosopher in China, said: It is not easy to ask proper questions, but it is very important. It is not easy to say it, because the problem itself needs to be studied; It is impossible for a person who does not study a certain line to ask questions about a certain line. Just because raising a decent question requires a research process, we can also say that the question has been raised honorably, and the content and value of this article are somewhat. This is the importance of topic selection. ?
The title of the paper is meaningful and the paper written is valuable. If the topic is meaningless, even with great efforts, no matter how good the structure and language of the article are, it will not have positive effects and functions.
A good graduation thesis topic can make a basic estimate of the article in advance. This is because, before determining the topic, the author always has to contact, collect, sort out and study a large number of materials, and determine his own research direction from the analysis and selection of materials to the topic selection. In this research process, the object reflected by objective things or materials constantly collides with the author's thinking movement, resulting in * * * sound. It is in this contradictory movement of unity of opposites that the author has a spark and leap in understanding. This leap must contain reasonable elements, or own unique views, or deepen existing conclusions, or refute different views, and so on.
In a word, this leap and ideological spark is an important ideological basis for the graduation thesis to be written. In his work practice, he deeply realized that leading cadres have different positions and their jobs should be changed frequently. The jurisdiction of township work is not large, but? Although the sparrow is small, it has all the organs? , a needle above, a thread below, everything. As the leader of the county government department, although the function is relatively simple, the line is long and the scope is wide. As the main leader, how to effectively lead the work of the region and the department, there is a scientific leadership method and leadership art problem.

Analysis on the topic selection of master's thesis
Abstract: Master's degree thesis is a way to test the academic level and scientific research ability of graduate students, which plays an important role in evaluating whether students are qualified or not. Thesis writing begins with topic selection, which is a very important link in the process of thesis writing. Based on the summary of 57 landscape planning and design papers published by the School of Architecture of Xi University of Architecture and Technology in recent five years, this paper summarizes their characteristics and trends, analyzes their reasons and puts forward suggestions, which can provide reference for teachers, students and related researchers to choose topics.
Key words: master's degree thesis, topic selection, landscape planning and design major
1 Introduction
Topic selection is the process for the author to select the research object and determine the method of obtaining the research results, and it is also the process of finding and asking questions [1]. Dissertation writing is not as simple as ordinary proposition composition writing. ? Write what? Putting forward a question worthy of study is the key first step in writing a paper. Therefore, the motivation of choosing the topic is to find the problem, because finding the problem can lead to the topic and find the research goal. Generally speaking, topic selection is an important weight to measure the quality and quantity of dissertation.
2 Multi-angle quantitative analysis
This paper collected 57 master's degree theses on landscape planning and design from the School of Architecture of Xi University of Architecture and Technology from 2004 to 2008. The data of master's dissertations used in statistical analysis mainly come from the dissertations database of Xi University of Architecture and Technology, the excellent master's dissertations database of China and the text data collection of the library.
2. 1 Analysis of paper quantity change
The direction of landscape planning and design has always belonged to the category of urban planning. Before 2008, there were not many articles about landscape, and only a few tutors' student papers involved the content of landscape planning, so there were about 57 articles in the past five years. Linear development of landscape planning and design papers. 2004 and 2008 are the two years with the largest number of papers in these five years. During the five-year development, the number of papers in 2006 reached a small peak, which was nearly half of that in 2005 and 2007.
2.2 Statistics on the number of papers by research type
The basis of classification by research type refers to the types of aspects or other objects involved in the research. The research types suitable for landscape planning and design can be divided into the research scope involved in this paper, such as Xi 'an Cultural City, a small watershed on the Yellow River Plateau and a scenic spot. There are eight kinds of objects involved in the thesis, and with the increase of the years, the number of papers involving various aspects of research has increased, especially those related to cities (famous cultural cities), scenic spots and corridors. Secondly, there are a certain number of papers about squares, residential quarters and gardens. The research with the least number of papers involves small watersheds and university campuses in the Loess Plateau. With the development of landscape planning, the scope of research is gradually expanding, and the types of research papers are also increasing.
2.3 Statistics on the number of papers by research elements
The basis of dividing by research elements is the constituent elements of the selected research object or other relevant basic units. Landscape planning and design papers can be divided into more than ten elements according to landscape elements, such as spatial form research, habitat creation, landscape design techniques, ecological landscape research and so on.
According to the statistics of research elements, the paper involves too many elements, totaling *** 17. With the passage of time, the range of elements contained in the paper is wider and wider, which shows that people pay more and more attention to the study of landscape. The research object of this paper mainly focuses on the study of spatial form, accounting for 18% of the total number of papers, and there are 10 papers in this field.
2.4 Statistics on the number of papers by research object distribution area
According to the research, the division of relevant distribution areas refers to the geographical distribution or location distribution of the research objects. The geographical distribution of the research objects in landscape planning and design papers can be divided into 14 areas, such as Xi 'an, Huashan Scenic Area, Yellow River Plateau, small and medium-sized towns in northwest China and so on. The research objects of this paper are widely distributed. Most of the research objects in this paper focus on Xi 'an, accounting for 36%. The main reason is that there are many documents about Xi 'an, which are convenient for consulting, traveling and field investigation. Followed by small and medium-sized towns in the northwest, and then Yan' an.
3 Conclusion
Through the analysis of 57 master's degree theses of landscape planning and design in Xi University of Architecture and Technology in recent five years, the following three laws are summarized:
(1) The number of papers is increasing year by year, covering a wide range. (2) From the analysis of the paper, it can be seen that the paper is slightly biased towards theoretical research and should be combined with specific projects. (3) Lack of interdisciplinary papers, only talking about landscape planning, lack of integration with architecture and urban planning.
In addition, according to the results of topic analysis, some suggestions are put forward for follow. One big and three small? The principle of.
What is the big principle? Make a mountain out of a molehill choose a smaller topic, grasp its main points, go deep into the essence and core, and study it from multiple angles and levels, so that you can reasonably elaborate your new ideas, new ideas and new ideas. In addition to following the general principles, the topic selection of the paper should also follow three small principles: first, the principle of objectivity, second, the principle of innovation and third, the principle of feasibility.
