1 Introduction

When we talk about English literature in16th century, no one does not think of Shakespeare, because his rich connotation and infinite charm are a unique wealth in the history of English literature. He spoke highly of Marxism as one of the greatest playwrights in the world. His historical plays express his strong desire to oppose war, strive for the reunification of the motherland and live and work in peace and contentment. His comedies pay attention to the optimistic spirit of humanism, praise sincere friendship and pure love, and use it as a weapon to attack feudal system; His tragedy reveals the irreconcilable contradiction between the humanistic ideal and the ugly phenomenon in real life. The rich connotations of Shakespeare's works certainly provide different perspectives and appreciation space (Hui-,1999).

In the comedy, a pair of men and women who love life and happiness become the heroine of the legendary drama because of their persistent pursuit. The characters have experienced a complete twist from all kinds of adversity, and believe that people with vision must go through countless hardships to succeed on the road of pursuing happiness because of profound social contradictions. A midsummer night's dream is a legendary comedy, and its legendary features in Shakespeare's comedies and plays should reflect humanism. After reading the female images in Shakespeare's works carefully, we find that their beauty is not only virtuous in men's eyes, but also passionate, bold and rebellious in the depths of their characters. The personal images in their lives have caused us a lot of thinking.

2 A beautiful man in the eyes, a perfect woman.

Shakespeare's male writers set out from everyone's intuition to shape the female images in life. They are a portrayal of the ideal personality of women in English society in the16th century. Among the women in Shakespeare's works, Princess Margaret and the ladies, who live in rich families, are young, beautiful, noble and virtuous, which is the goal of pursuing perfection in men's and women's minds. Their beauty and virtue are all declared by the characters (especially male characters) in their hearts and in the process of dialogue, which can be displayed. The beauty of Black Xia Mei and Helena in A Midsummer Night's Dream and the gentle praise from others are the voices that reveal them. Helena Black Xia Mei praised: "Your eyes are two stars, and your voice is more beautiful than the sound of Baylor's seasonal green wheat hawthorn entering the shepherd's lark." Qu Fakomis praised the beauty of Helena: "Beautiful Helena, she lit up the night sky and eclipsed all the bright stars." In Britain in the16th century, men dominated the field of literature. Although women had the opportunity to receive education, they did not have the opportunity to write their own ambitions. Therefore, the women in Shakespeare's plays are not the perfect women in the framework of men's eyes.
