To some extent, these problems are attributed to people's one-sided understanding of development. They think that as long as it is economical, energy conservation and emission reduction are not only problems caused by environmental pollution such as enterprise production and automobile exhaust emission, but also the subject of society is people, and the theme of energy conservation and environmental protection must be people. Colleges and universities are the main positions for cultivating talents and promoting scientific and technological progress. An investigation agency once conducted a survey on environmental protection in a university, and the results were not so satisfactory.
The contents of the survey include the unsalable situation of college students on World Environmental Protection Day, whether they will bring shopping bags when they go out, whether they are willing to spend more money on environmental protection products, their participation in environmental protection activities, whether they use energy-saving products in their lives, what they will do when they see others wasting, whether they have taken practical actions to protect the environment, and how to treat disposable lunch boxes. According to statistics, if the use of plastic bags is reduced by 10% nationwide, about 12000 tons of standard coal and 3 10000 tons of carbon dioxide can be saved every year, which is very impressive. In addition, plan every meal and save every grain. This is what every college student in Xinjiang can do, and it is the most realistic and effective energy saving and emission reduction activity.
