Literature citation
Literature citation is a comment on the "reference source" in the paragraph or text of an article. APA format uses Harvard University article citation format. Generally speaking, citations contain the author's name and publication date, enclosed in brackets (and sometimes pages), and placed after the quoted words or sentences.
Detailed quotations or references are placed in the "References" or "Cited Works" section at the end of the article. The APA format clearly stipulates that "references" should only be put into the source cited by the article content, so some articles will have the difference between "references" and "bibliography".
