Professor Li is engaged in the research of livestock surgery, small animal diseases and parasitology of endangered wild animals, and has also made unique achievements in large animal surgery. Over the years, he has published more than 80 papers in academic journals and conferences at home and abroad. Editor-in-chief published Practical Pig Disease Manual, Veterinary Graduation Practice Guide, Animal Surgery Experiment Guide and Animal Surgery Practice Guide, and deputy editor-in-chief published Veterinary Surgery Experiment Course and Veterinary Surgery Experiment Course, and participated in editing and publishing monographs and teaching materials such as Practical Veterinary Course. He presided over the completion of 3 national natural science foundation projects, 3 Inner Mongolia natural science foundation projects, Hohhot 1 project and Education Department 1 project.
Professor Li won two first prizes for scientific and technological progress in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, one second prize for teaching achievement 1 in Inner Mongolia, and one first prize for teaching achievement 1 in Inner Mongolia Agricultural University. In 2004, he was rated as a first-class candidate of "32 1 Talent Project" in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, a young and middle-aged expert with outstanding contributions, and was rated as an outstanding scientific and technological worker by Inner Mongolia Agricultural University in 2007.
