Currently, he is the deputy director of the Agricultural Application Department of the National Remote Sensing Center, the director of the Remote Sensing Room of the Institute of Resources of China Academy of Agricultural Sciences, the executive director of the Computer Application Branch of China Agricultural Society, the director of the National Local Remote Sensing Association, the member of China Geographical Society, and the editorial board of China Agricultural Resources and Zoning magazine. In recent years, he is mainly engaged in research work in the fields of remote sensing monitoring of crops and agricultural conditions, monitoring and evaluation of land resources, and monitoring and evaluation of disasters.
