This paper introduces the basic principles and ideas of the design of automatic control system for industrial sewage treatment, describes the automatic control process and system implementation method in industrial sewage treatment system, and describes in detail the application of programmable controller to control each process of sewage treatment and the composition of the control system. In addition, the programmable controller has a series of advantages such as high reliability, simple programming and strong anti-interference ability, so it has been widely used in the field of industrial control. Because PC has good man-machine interface and control decision-making ability, PLC communicates with PC through RS422/485 bus, which greatly enhances the function of PLC in man-machine interaction performance. The design of industrial sewage treatment automatic control system has reached the three requirements of standardization, science and technology and humanization pursued by modern automation, which makes the system have strong reliability, maintainability and intelligence.
