Yan 'an University, referred to as "Yanda University", is located in the revolutionary holy land of Yan 'an. It is the first comprehensive university named after Comrade Mao Zedong, founded by the China Production Party, and co-founded by the people of China, the Ministry of Education and the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government.
Yan 'an University is a pilot university, a provincial-level key university and a provincial-level high-level university in Shaanxi Province. It is also a counterpart supporting university of China Renmin University, Beijing Institute of Technology, beijing university of chemical technology and other national key universities.
