On the Style and Characteristics of Li Bai's Poems and Songs
Li Bai is a great romantic poet in the history of China ancient literature. There are more than 990 of his poems, many of which have become masterpieces through the ages. Chinese textbooks for middle school students have been selected as Farewell to Friends, Autumn Songs, Midnight Wu Ge, Looking at Tianmen Mountain, Drinking the Bright Moon Alone, Qiubei Building in Xuancheng, Xie Tiao, Difficult Road to Shu, Drinking, Climbing Mount Tianmu in My Dream, etc. This paper tries to analyze it from four aspects.

First, the fresh and elegant style.

Du Fu's poem "Memories of Li Bai in Spring" said: "White poetry is invincible, floating in the air, thinking of different groups. Fresh and open, Junyibao joined the army. " In other words, Li Bai's poems are rich in imagination, lofty in artistic conception and outstanding in style, inheriting and developing the freshness of Yu Xin, a poet in the Northern Dynasty, and the elegance of Bao Zhao, a poet in the Southern Dynasty.

The so-called "freshness" means sincere thoughts and feelings, rich and novel imagination and extraordinary language. The so-called "elegance" means bold, free and easy, elegant and has a natural beauty style. For example, look at Lushan Waterfall:

The purple mist is illuminated by sunlight, and the waterfall hangs in front of the mountain.

On the high cliff, it seems to be thousands of feet high, which makes people think that the Milky Way has fallen from heaven to earth.

The metaphor of "Milky Way" in the poem is very fresh and appropriate, which is unforgettable. Another example is Uncle Yun's "Although the knife cuts the water, it still flows", which means "raising a glass to eliminate sorrow and worry more". This is extremely exaggerated, but it feels very real.

The exaggeration in Li Bai's poems is the boldest and most expressive, and it never gives people a strange feeling. For example, "Song of Qiu Pu" (XV):

White hair three thousands of feet, sorrow like a beard.

I don't know where to get autumn frost in the mirror.

It is wonderful for poets to highlight invisible worries with visible and tangible white hair and to talk about the depth of their worries with exaggerated white hair. Another example is "a thousand miles away in Jiangling for a day", "Yanshan snowflakes are as big as seats", "the wind from thousands of miles is beating against Yumenguan battlements" and "Peach Blossom Pond is deep in thousands of feet", all of which are extremely exaggerated and grotesque, expressing his love for the great rivers and mountains of the motherland and his desire for freedom, light and friendship.

Li Bai is good at using association and imagination. Such as: "the wind blows my heart and hangs Xianyang trees in the west." (Golden Elephant sent to Xijing, Wei Ba) "Wild geese lead sorrow, and mountains hold the moon" ("Climbing Yueyang Tower in the 12th Summer") "I sent sorrow and the bright moon to you until Yelangxi." ("I heard that Wang Changling left and moved to Longbiao Kiln to send this") "I will think of you in the clouds, so I will think of me in the sunset."
