Education is not an indoctrination paper.
What does it mean that a person is "influenced" by another person (such as a writer or philosopher)? It is a kind of self-discovery, and something that already exists but is sleeping is awakened. What has a great influence on the mind is by no means indoctrination, but a kind of struggle. No matter how great a book is, it doesn't exist for us if it can't arouse our protest. This is one of Zhou's viewpoints in the article "Open Book is beneficial". The real reading is that a person's mind is constantly awakened.

One must find his teacher independently. The outer edge is similar to the heart, which is the fundamental condition for awakening. When the outer edge is similar to the soul, the experience is clarity, pleasure or excitement. When the outer edge is contrary to the truth of the soul, it experiences rejection, struggle and even disgust.

Therefore, it is difficult for us to teach others anything. We can only provide others with a proper good cause and let others find something from it. In my opinion, education is not a process from the outside to the inside, but an internal and external response. First lit, then understood each other. In Zen Buddhism in China, there are many such educational cases, such as pecking at the same time and smiling at flowers. I think this is probably the highest level of education!

? Obviously, if you want your students to study happily, then you should wake up with the dignity of teaching profession and inner joy; If you want your students to experience beauty, then you should wake them up with beautiful works. Spiritual liberation is awakened by the spirit of freedom, innovation is awakened by seeking truth from differences, and sincerity is awakened by equality. If we are not a fire, it is difficult to ignite another heart, which is the whole connotation of awakening. This is my profound experience since teaching.
