The project invented the overall multi-objective optimization and hydrodynamic layout method, the variable-mode variable-parameter robust motion control and steering gear control method, the overall optimization design method of dual-axis counter-rotating special-shaped motor, the motion parameter assistance and multi-source information fusion navigation method.

The project originated from a distinctive team-the Underwater Robot Research Institute of Northwestern Polytechnical University.
