Whose paper won the Nobel Prize in Physics?
William Conrad Logan, 190 1 year, the first nobel prize in physics was awarded to the german physicist William Conrad Logan (1845- 1923) for his discovery of x-rays in 1895.

Wilhelm konrad rontgen, a German experimental physicist, 1845 was born in Lennep Town, Lanzhou on March 27th. At the age of 3, the whole family moved to the Netherlands and merged into Dutch nationality.

1865 entered department of mechanical engineering of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and 1868 graduated. 1869 received his Ph.D. from the University of Zurich, and worked as an assistant to the vocalist A.Kundt.

Roentgen has done experimental research in many fields of physics all his life, such as magnetic effect of dielectric moving in charged capacitor, specific heat capacity of gas, thermal conductivity of crystal, thermoelectric and piezoelectric phenomena, rotation of polarization plane of light in gas, photoelectric relationship, elasticity of matter, capillary phenomenon and so on.
