Repetition rate of major inspections
The sampling inspection of master's degree theses is conducted once a year, and the papers awarded master's degrees within a specific range are sampled. Each master's degree thesis is reviewed by three experts from other provinces. According to the degree-granting unit and the scale of awarding master's degrees in disciplines, the sampling number of papers is determined according to the sampling ratio of 3-5%. Dissertations evaluated as "unqualified" by two or more experts will be regarded as "problematic dissertations". Among the three experts, 1 dissertation with "unqualified" comments will be sent to two peer experts for re-evaluation. If 1 or more experts' opinions are "unqualified" in the re-evaluation, the paper will be regarded as "problematic dissertation".
