In the direction of radar system and radar information processing, the research on space target radar detection, bistatic/multistatic radar imaging, jungle reconnaissance radar system, circular array radar system and micro-Doppler measurement has been carried out to improve radar tracking accuracy and anti-deception jamming ability. For the first time in China, the radar detection of high orbit targets has been realized, and the results have been applied to the lunar exploration project. In the direction of electronic information countermeasure, the research on smart deception radar jamming, radar reconnaissance information processing, radar countermeasure system simulation and evaluation has been carried out, which has opened up a new jamming mode for warning radar. In the direction of high-speed real-time signal processing technology, a variety of advanced digital signal processors have been developed, and a modular general radar signal processing platform has been proposed and implemented, which has been applied to many models.

In the above direction, he won the National Invention Award 1 item, the Ministerial Science and Technology Award 13 item, authorized more than 50 invention patents, published more than 200 academic papers and edited 2 books.
