Born in 197 1, Hangzhou, Zhejiang. 1993 graduated from the Department of Foreign Languages, Ningbo University, majoring in English language and literature. I work as an English tour guide in an international travel agency. 1996 has been teaching at the School of Foreign Languages, Hangzhou Normal University. 1999 obtained a master's degree in tourism management from Zhejiang University. In 2002, he received a master's degree in English language and literature from Zhejiang University. In 2005, he received a doctorate in literature from the School of Foreign Languages of Fudan University, where he stayed as a teacher. Doctoral thesis was selected as the excellent doctoral thesis of Fudan University in 2005. Since 2000, he has published nearly 30 academic papers in Chinese and Foreign Literature, Foreign Literature Review, Foreign Literature Research, Foreign Literature, Contemporary Foreign Literature, Journal of Sichuan International Studies University, World Chinese Literature Forum, China Literature and Literary Newspaper, and published Selected Works of willa cather and Love. In 2004, he was funded by Starr Fund of American Center of Hong Kong University, and in 2006, he won the Golden Miao Award of Fudan University's scientific research promotion program. He is currently a member of the National American Literature Research Association and the National English Literature Society, and a writer of American and Canadian literature in the "Daci Overseas Chinese Literature Volume" project of the General Administration of Press and Publication. Courses taught include: the history of British and American literature and selected readings, general situation of Britain and America, English audio-visual speaking, English intensive reading, etc. His research interests are British and American literature, including modern and contemporary British and American literature, Chinese American literature, Shakespeare's plays and movies.
