One. Westernization Movement (Reform and Opening-up in Qing Dynasty)
Two. Sun Yat-sen's * * and Revolution
Three. The Japanese invaded China.
Four. With the restoration of dictatorship, China abolished the Constitution of the Republic of China and stole civil rights with the nonsense of people's democratic dictatorship.
Firstly, the meaning of modernization is defined, that is, democratization and rule of law in politics, industrialization and marketization in economy, scientization and rationalization in ideology and culture, and learning from the West in education, military affairs and diplomacy.
The first step of China's modernization was the Westernization Movement (industrialization in economy, establishment of three navies in military, learning from the West in education and establishment of the Prime Minister's Office in diplomacy).
Then there was political democratization-the Reform Movement of 1898 (changing feudal autocracy into constitutional monarchy) and the Revolution of 1911 (overthrowing the monarchy and establishing a democratic republic).
The third step-scientific rationality in ideology is the New Culture Movement. Under the banner of democracy and science, studying the West in an all-round way and attacking backward feudal ideology and culture have greatly liberated people's minds, especially young students. Therefore, the May 4th Movement appeared in Peking University.
Characteristics, learn from the West, step by step, so that China has changed from an agricultural society with political autocracy, economic closure and blind and irrational thinking to an industrial civilized society with political democracy, economic mechanization, marketization and scientific thinking.
On the first and second floors, the meaning of modernization is not clearly understood. On the first level, modern history and modernization are confused. Modern history is understood by social form (political standard), that is, from feudal society to semi-colonial and semi-feudal society, while modernization is from social transformation (political, economic and other social three-dimensional levels), that is, from traditional agricultural civilized society to modern industrial civilized society.
Okay, enough hints. Believe in yourself. It's up to you.
Come on!
