What is accidental injury insurance?
The risk of accidental injury is mainly avoided by dividend insurance, accident insurance or whole life insurance, and the risk of illness and disability is mainly avoided by health insurance.

Accidental injury refers to an accident that causes physical injury, which is often used in the insurance industry. According to the usual definition of the insurance industry, accidental injury refers to the injury to the body caused by external, sudden, unintentional and non-disease objective events.

Accidental injury includes two meanings: accident and injury.

1. The so-called accident refers to the insured's subjective state, which means that the insured did not foresee the occurrence of the injury in advance or that the injury occurred against the insured's subjective will, and its characteristics are unintentional, foreign and sudden.

2. The so-called injury refers to the objective fact that the insured's body suffers from external accidents, which destroys the integrity of the human body or damages the physiological functions of organs and tissues. The damage process includes three elements: harmful object, infringing object and infringing fact.
