What do you think of the Diaoyu Islands incident? The number of words in the paper is 1500+
A bomb buried between China and Japan, I can only say that it is the Diaoyu Islands issue. How ironic it is to be under Japanese control as a part of China.

Some time ago, on the morning of September 7th, 20 10, Japanese fishing boats collided with and arrested China fishermen and fishing boats in the relevant waters of Diaoyu Island in China. After solemn representations from the Japanese government, the Japanese side released the fishermen and fishing boats in China on 13, but still illegally arrested the captain of the fishing boat. It was not released to China until September 2009 19. It can be seen from this incident that the Diaoyu Islands incident between China and Japan is by no means accidental. This is another Japanese public provocation against China in order to seize the sovereignty of Diaoyu Islands. The Diaoyu Islands issue is very similar to the four northern islands issue of Japan and Russia and the Zhudao (or Dokdo) issue of Japan and South Korea. The territorial problems between these countries mainly come from historical reasons, military reasons, political reasons and inter-ethnic sentiment. However, the core of the Diaoyu Islands dispute is sovereignty, and Japan wants to forcibly exercise its domestic laws to make the despicable act of illegally occupying the Diaoyu Islands, the sacred territory of China, a fait accompli.

Deng Xiaoping once said: "The sovereignty issue is not negotiable". Diaoyu Island belongs to China in the past, present and future. In my opinion, China's possession of Diaoyu Island is legal. Diaoyu Island is a part of China's territory, which can be seen from the garrison of Ming Dynasty in China and some historical materials of Qing Dynasty. In addition, China also has possession behavior. In ancient China, fishermen used Diaoyu Island as their habitat, and in Qing Dynasty, they used Diaoyu Island as their herb collecting base. All these historical data show that China is effectively developing and utilizing Diaoyu Island.

Therefore, China's possession of Diaoyu Island is legal and effective. In modern times, due to Japan's illegal behavior, China lost its de facto possession and control of the Diaoyu Islands, but this does not mean that China gave up the island, nor does it mean that Japan acquired the Diaoyu Islands. However, it is illegal for Japan to occupy the Diaoyu Islands. The Japanese now actually occupy the Diaoyu Islands, and China fishermen and fishermen are not allowed to get close. But this kind of behavior is illegal in Japan. The reason is that Japan thinks it has occupied an uninhabited desert island, but in fact the island has been occupied by China and used by fishermen, so Japan's argument about occupying a desert island is untenable. In addition, Japan's so-called "preemptive strike" was also conducted in secret, and China did not know it. Therefore, Japan's possession of the island is illegal possession, malicious possession and defective possession, so it cannot obtain the ownership of Diaoyu Island. Facts have proved that there is no doubt that Diaoyu Island belongs to China in sovereignty, and I firmly believe this, of course, not out of national sentiment. However, we should also see that although Diaoyu Island legally belongs to China, it was actually occupied by the Japanese. On the one hand, the island is far from the mainland and Taiwan Province Province, and it is difficult for the mainland and Taiwan Province Province to occupy the island. On the other hand, the Diaoyu Islands issue involves the diplomatic relations between China and Japan, and the grievances between the two countries cannot be clearly stated in a few words. Under the current reality, it is really necessary for the two countries to maintain good diplomatic relations in order to safeguard their overall interests. Therefore, the solution of the Diaoyu Islands issue is indeed an arduous task. Put forward your own views here.

(1) War is not feasible. Some young people in China often think that our army should send troops to occupy the Diaoyu Islands out of national feelings, and if possible, we can fight the Taiwan army and drive the Japanese out of the island. I don't think this is feasible. The reasons are as follows: First, war is the ultimate means, and we must never give up lightly. The damage caused by the century-long war between China and Japan is obvious to all. If we fight again because of territorial issues, it will harm the interests of the Chinese and Japanese people. Fighting is not a good option for China and Japan, unless the relationship between the two sides is not good, which is really a last resort. Second, China's military strength is not enough to resist the Japanese.

(II) It is unlikely to be solved by law. Judging from the actual situation in China and Japan, I think it is unlikely that the Diaoyu Islands ownership case will be submitted to the International Court of Justice or other arbitration institutions. The reason is that the evidence of both China and Japan is that Diaoyu Island belongs to China or Japan. Obviously, this is too risky for politicians in any country, and the Chinese and Japanese people will not accept any plan of "divide and rule". In addition, in fact, both sides ruled out this solution. 1July 1996 19, the Japanese government issued a press release at the United Nations, saying that the Japanese government could not see any reason to submit the case to the regional court in the future, because there was no territorial dispute in fact. 1996 10, People's Republic of China (PRC) also warned the United States not to get involved in this dispute. A spokesman for the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs once said: "This is an issue involving China and China, and no third party can intervene."

(3) It is not feasible to shelve disputes and jointly develop. It is China's position on the South China Sea Islands issue, but this way is not to solve the problem, but to delay it. In fact, China's solution was not accepted by other countries, but caused further infringement of China's rights and interests by other countries. At present, Diaoyu Island is actually controlled by Japan. According to international law, the right to develop oil and gas resources in relevant areas belongs to island sovereign States. Therefore, Japan will definitely fight for the ownership of the Diaoyu Islands and will not let it go. For shelving the dispute, Japan does not consider it a dispute, and there is no doubt that the island belongs to Japan; With the same development, Japan has sufficient capacity to develop oil and gas resources. On the contrary, China's technology of exploiting resources is not as mature as Japanese. Therefore, shelving the dispute will only delay the solution of the problem, and it will also make the idea that Japan actually occupies the area and develops and transforms it a reality.

(4) First solve the continental shelf problem in the East China Sea. I think it seems more advantageous to solve the continental shelf dispute in the East China Sea first and then the Diaoyu Islands dispute. China's claim to the continental shelf in the East China Sea is based on the principle of "natural extension" and does not depend on the consideration of the Diaoyu Islands; If the Diaoyu Islands dispute is resolved first, once the islands are acquired by Japan, it will easily become the basis for Japan to claim the continental shelf in the East China Sea and damage China's dominant position in the continental shelf dispute in the East China Sea. Therefore, China must consider the status of the Diaoyu Islands issue in the demarcation of the East China Sea. Equal consultation is also one of the means of international law to solve disputes, and it is easy to form a good atmosphere of relations and cooperation between them. What we have to do now is to make a clear attitude and show our firm determination to safeguard territorial sovereignty, so that Japan can see it and make them understand it through a series of political and diplomatic means. Of course, it is best to let the other side know the inside story. If the Japanese don't understand current affairs and go their own way, we will have enough reasons to go to war and make a name for ourselves. Once the war is started by Japan, it is no small matter when it will end. By then, under the correct leadership of the Central Committee, China will be able to take revenge with high morale and strong comprehensive national strength.
