Because of the close relationship between oil and the contemporary Middle East, the global energy transformation will inevitably affect the international status of the Middle East and the power structure among Middle East countries. The power gap between rich and poor countries will widen, and the advantages of "small country and big politics" in countries such as the United Arab Emirates and Qatar may be highlighted. With economic construction becoming the primary task of national strategy, many hot spots in the Middle East have generally cooled down, relations between hostile countries have eased, and even signs of multilateral economic cooperation have emerged. At the same time, there are signs of vicious economic competition among relevant countries.
