Tell the students patiently that since they are continuing their studies, writing a thesis is a basic ability training, and they should go to a new school and use a new platform to write a new thesis. If they are evaluating lecturers, they will generally ask for core journal papers. If they waste on SCI papers, they should give them to their tutors. Otherwise, they will not be able to gain a foothold in colleges and universities. If I don't agree with your revision, you will have the motivation to write a paper. In a sense, it is to further urge you to start new research. Of course, if the contradictory papers are only core journal papers or conference papers (except for doctoral papers or master's papers that meet the graduation requirements), I will allow students to change their units.

For students, when they are working in Dalian Maritime University for postgraduate study, the first author of the thesis will of course write about Dalian Maritime University. If you think so, that's fine.
