Nutrition and health of middle school students

First of all, our health.

On June 1 1 day, 2006, the A7 edition of Modern Express published such a report: the data of the national survey on students' physical health in 2005 showed that the average proportion of hypertension among middle school students was over 50%, that among high school students was over 60% (including senior three students who were over 66%), and that the obesity rate among students was 50% higher than that of five years ago ... The trend of younger diseases seriously threatened the majority. According to the statistics of the World Health Organization, 70% of the people in the world belong to sub-health. According to the survey data of China Nutrition Society reported by Yangzi Evening News, the sub-health population in China accounts for 80%, accounting for 15% of patients. The difficulty in seeing a doctor and the housing and education problems are called the new "three mountains" that oppress Chinese people. All these show that the health problem has become a social problem in our country, which has attracted great attention from the government and the whole people, and the pursuit of health has become a fashion. ...

Defining the concepts of health, disease and sub-health will help us to judge our own health.

Physicians and nutritionists explain health as "no disease, no disability and no injury". It is believed that diseases are physiological dysfunction of living cells, tissues or organs caused by infection, poisoning, malnutrition, immune disorder, genetic defects and even cell, chromosome and gene aberration. Diseases can be measured by deviating from normal measurable biological (somatic) variables.

Sub-health is the third state of our life, between health and disease, and it is a bridge to disease and health. The choice of health or disease is in your hands. Sub-health is difficult to be explained by measurable biological variables, so many unhealthy factors are ignored in people's bodies until they show their power, which leads to the occurrence of diseases. It is like an invisible killer, always following you, ready to start. Sub-health has become the most vicious enemy of human health in 2 1 century. Nutrition and health of middle school students

Second, health is a state of balance between body and stress.

Today, the harsh natural environment (water, atmosphere, food, etc. ) The pollution is very serious. Fierce social competition and our own bad living habits, such as smoking and drinking, constitute the pressure of our living environment and seriously affect the health of modern people.

The reason why we are not easily overwhelmed by these pressures that can cause diseases is because there is another innate strength in us-vitality can make us healthy. Whether these two forces are balanced or not determines our health.

When stress is greater than vitality, excessive stress will damage life and lead to disease. There is a critical point of pressure, which is a sign of whether the dynamic balance formed by the two forces in the process of confrontation has been broken. Many people know such a metaphor: we keep piling straw on the camel, and at the moment when we put a straw on the humpback, the camel will be crushed to death, and the last straw that crushed the camel is the critical point of pressure. People also have a critical point to bear pressure. If you have a conflict with your classmates and feel bad, then eat a lot of food containing preservatives. In case of sudden change in weather, mistakes in homework, criticism, and finally illness. Maybe you will complain about the weather, maybe you will regret quarreling with others, and so on. Actually, none of this is the point. At most, it is the last straw to crush the camel. The real threat comes from the continuous pressure not being properly released, which leads to the accumulated pressure exceeding the critical point you can bear.

To change the state of the body and make it develop in a healthy direction all the time, we must learn two things: first, how to release the pressure; The second is how to enhance vitality.

People will have various reactions under pressure. These reactions are all diseases, signals sent by the body when it fights against stress, and the language of our body. It tells us that the body is being hurt by some kind of force (pressure). If we can read body language and release stress before it reaches a critical point, then we can avoid diseases.

In fact, vomiting and diarrhea are a kind of natural protection of the body, which is to expel harmful things from the body. Eye pain reminds us that it's time to rest, and backache reminds us to relax our waist. Sneezing and runny nose are actually warning us that we will catch a cold if we are not careful. Body language is also rich and colorful, so you should read it with your heart. ...

Learning how to enhance the vitality of the human body is actually learning how to better resist stress. We are now learning how to enhance human function and resist stress from the perspective of nutrition. The best doctor is your body, and the best medicine is food.

No human creation can be compared with his own extraordinary structure. Bone marrow produces 2.5 million red blood cells per second, which meets the oxygen demand of cells all over the body. The digestive system in the body produces digestive juice at the rate of 10L/ day to digest food. Every moment, our bodies are undergoing metabolism and effective renewal. The real treatment of diseases depends on the self-healing ability of the human body. Medical treatment is the assistant of the body, and it is a means to cooperate with the treatment direction and intention of the body. The best doctors often use the least and simplest drugs because they know the strength of the body. Many diseases are self-healing, which means that no matter how hard you work for them or ignore them completely, they will heal themselves. Therefore, the best doctor is your body. The operation of the body depends on the nutrients in food, so the best medicine is food. Nutrition is actually the knowledge of balanced diet nutrition, and its theoretical basis is the theoretical basis of traditional Chinese medicine. Both of them pay attention to the concentration and extraction technology of nutrients.

Hospital doctors in many developed countries are very cautious in using drugs, especially antibiotics (in China, antibiotics such as penicillin are widely used, which seriously damages human immunity). Drugs can kill bacteria and viruses (the earliest inhabitants of the earth have lived for billions of years), and of course they can also kill human cells, thus weakening human vitality. Some patients who have received chemotherapy often lose all their hair and their functions (speaking and doing things are decadent and powerless) deteriorate. This is a fact. Most modern drugs have great "negative effects" because they are chemical synthetic products, have no biological activity, are heterogeneous substances of the human body, and are rejected by the human body; Food nutrients come from living things like human beings, which can be absorbed and accepted by human cells and become raw materials for human bodies.

But we can't and don't want to deny the value of medicine. Many accidental injuries (earthquakes, car accidents and other large-scale injuries) and acute diseases (sudden infection, poisoning and so on. If hospitals and doctors do not control the speed and intensity of damage, many people will be killed. In fact, medicine and nutrition are two parallel lines, not mutually exclusive, but complementary. The significance of medicine is more reflected in the treatment of accidental injuries and the control of acute diseases, while nutrition emphasizes strengthening the body resistance and is good at regulating chronic diseases (especially some diseases that the human body must rely on drugs to control).

Students, if you want to have health, you must first have a correct outlook on health and good living habits, and all this must be based on certain health knowledge, so learning nutrition knowledge is particularly important.

Nutritional collocation of middle school students

Middle school students are in the stage of growth and development, and their metabolism is vigorous. They need more energy and nutrients than adults. And if the nutrition is not balanced, it will affect the normal growth and development.

If we lack the necessary elements in the human body, it will lead to difficulties in concentration, poor memory and poor eyesight, which will seriously endanger the daily life of middle school students.

The current task of middle school students is to study, and having a healthy body is the basis for achieving excellent results.

Although the dietary nutrition intake of middle school students in China is gradually improving, the original problem of insufficient nutrition has not been completely solved, and the serious problem of excessive energy needs to be corrected. But most parents don't know how to mix nutrition reasonably. In view of this problem, we decided to study the nutritional collocation of middle school students, hoping to give parents some reasonable dietary suggestions through our research.

Through research, we know the average food that middle school students (13- 17 years old) should get every day for parents' reference.

Daily food requirements of middle school students:

Cereals and potatoes: including rice, steamed bread, noodles and corn. 500 grams of sweet potato, etc.

Animal food: meat 100g, fish and shrimp 25g, eggs 50g, milk and dairy products 100g.

Beans and bean products: soybeans and their products 150g.

Vegetables and fruits: fruit 100g, vegetables 300g.

Edible oil: edible oil 15 ~ 25g.

On holidays, in order to keep healthy, we should also do the following:

(1) adhere to the principle of three meals a day, eating rules.

(2) Mix coarse and fine grains to realize food diversification.

Don't eat too much greasy food.

④ Drink 200 ~ 250ml milk every day.

⑤ The daily salt content is controlled at 5 ~ 7g.

⑥ Limit the intake of snacks. Don't drink too much while eating. No drinking.

If middle school students face exams, we also give the following suggestions on nutrition collocation for parents' reference.

① Ensure the supply of high-quality protein: eggs, milk, meat and bean products should be essential when arranging candidates' meals. Protein is the basic substance that keeps people engaged in complex intellectual activities. )

(2) Ensure the supply of staple food: mix coarse and fine grains, with coarse grains and potatoes in addition to rice and wheat flour.

③ Ensure the supply of vitamins and inorganic salts: Fresh vegetables and fruits are good sources of vitamins and inorganic salts. For example, oranges, strawberries, rape and celery are rich in vitamins and inorganic salts.
