Bing Xin (190010/0/0-0/5/2/999), formerly known as Xie Wanying, was born in Changle, Fujian. China poet, modern writer, translator, children's literature writer, social activist and essayist. The pen name Bing Xin is taken from There is a Bing Xin in the Jade Pot.

Social status:

195 1 After returning to China, I took an active part in various social activities. He used to be a member of the second and third Council of the Chinese Writers Association, a secretary and consultant of the Secretariat, a member and vice-chairman of the second and fourth National Committees of the China Federation of Literary and Art Circles, a vice-chairman of the Central Committee of the China Association for Promoting Democracy [1], a representative of the first to fifth National People's Congress, and a member of the fifth to seventh Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Standing Committee. She has made great contributions to the development of literature, women and children in China, and to upholding and improving the multi-party cooperation and political consultation system led by the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Charities:

1938 (War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression period) went to live in Kunming, Yunnan Province because of the war, and taught at Chenggong Simple Normal School in Kunming.

After the founding of New China, it has donated more than 100,000 yuan to the people in disaster areas such as hometown primary schools, National Hope Project, China Rural Women's Education Development Fund and Anhui.

In response to Ba Jin's initiative to establish China Museum of Modern Literature, he donated a large number of books, manuscripts and calligraphy, and took the lead in setting up Bingxin Library.

When she heard about the flood on 1998, she donated 2000 yuan. Later, when she learned that the disaster was serious, she donated 10000 yuan to the disaster area.

Cultural exchange:

Shortly after the founding of New China, Bing Xin returned from Japan and devoted herself to various cultural undertakings and international exchange activities. She has visited Japan, Britain, the Soviet Union and other countries to spread friendship among people all over the world.
