What is a pig's wound? What are the clinical manifestations of trauma?
Pig trauma is a mechanical injury caused by sharp external force or strong blunt external force acting on pig tissues or organs, which makes the skin or mucosa of the injured part appear wounds and the deep tissues communicate with the outside world. Trauma generally consists of wound edge, wound, wall, cavity and surroundings. After trauma, the skin or mucosa will crack and bleed, and severe trauma will cause dyskinesia, reduced activity of pigs, listlessness, reduced food intake and so on. Trauma can be divided into fresh trauma, suppurative infection and granulation wound due to different time of occurrence and treatment. According to the characteristics of trauma, trauma can be divided into cutting injury, chopping injury, contusion injury, crushing injury, bite injury, poisoning injury and firearm injury. Pneumothorax will appear in chest trauma, omentum or intestinal tube will easily fall off in abdominal trauma, and limping will appear in limb trauma. Mild trauma does not cause systemic symptoms, while severe trauma is easy to cause infection, suppuration and necrosis, with obvious systemic symptoms.
