I. Introduction of Harbin Normal University
Harbin Normal University (HRBNU) is located in Harbin, a famous historical and cultural city with the reputation of "Ice City and Summer Capital". It is a provincial key university characterized by normal education and coordinated development of literature, science, art, economics and management. It is a "double first-class" domestic first-class university in Heilongjiang Province.
The school was founded in 195 1 year. Its predecessor was the East Special Zone Fine Arts School founded by 1929, and 1947 was renamed Songjiang Provincial Xingzhi Normal School. After experiencing important development periods such as Harbin Normal University (1951-kloc-0/956) and Harbin Normal University (1956- 1980), it was named Harbin Normal University in 1980.

In 2020, the circulation of books reached 1.2999 million, the number of visits to electronic resources was 3.331.490, and the number of downloads of electronic resources in that year was 2,665,600.
The library also has digital resources such as China Knowledge Resources General Database, Wanfang Dissertation Full-text Database, SpringerLink Foreign Language Database and Reading Show Knowledge Base. Five characteristic databases have been built, and seven ancient books with historical and cultural value have been listed in the second batch of national precious ancient books.
