Faust's artistic thesis
Symphony is a large orchestral suite full of drama. It can also be said that a symphony is a sonata played by an orchestra. At first, symphony was a general term for all kinds of multi-part music. In the18th century, it usually refers to the Italian opera overture. Allegro, Adagio and Allegro in the opera overture gradually developed into three movements, which, together with a "minuet" movement, became a typical form of a classical symphony with four movements. Classical symphonies were mastered by Austrian composer Haydn, who composed 65,438+004 symphonies and was known as the "father of symphonies". Beethoven is an innovator of classical symphonies. He created the Heroic Symphony and the Destiny Symphony, making symphonies an important music genre to express revolutionary enthusiasm and heroic character against tyranny, freedom and democracy. After Beethoven, romantic composers in the19th century led symphonies to a new broad world, strengthened their titles, and closely combined music creation with literature, drama and painting. For example, the Hungarian composer Liszt, and Germany created the Faust Symphony with the theme of crops in Goethe's works. Symphony usually consists of four movements. The first movement usually adopts the sonata form of Allegro, which shows the people's struggle is full of drama. All music is based on the contrast and development of two themes with different personalities. The second movement is usually a lyric adagio, and its content is often related to deep inner feelings and philosophical thinking. The third movement is usually a medium-speed dance or scherzo. The fourth movement is mostly in the form of Allegro Rondo or Rondo Sonata, which shows people's life, customs and habits and scenes of people's victory. The scale of symphony orchestras is different in different periods. In the early days, an orchestra had fifty or sixty members. Symphony In The Romantic Period, orchestras with three pipes and four pipes are often used, with more than 100 members. Example: I'm glad to know the symphony. I took an intoxicating symphony appreciation course this semester. Under the guidance of the teacher, we wandered around the world of symphony, learned a lot about the basic knowledge and development history of symphonic music, met many world-famous great musicians, and listened to many well-known classical music works, as if we had found a charming island to relax our hearts after intense study. I have always liked music, and the leisure mood brought by music is beyond words. Symphony is the most soul-washing part of all kinds of music. Reading while listening to a symphony in a sunny afternoon, or meditating while listening to a symphony in a rainy evening … everything seems to be perfectly combined with music. The four elements of music are melody, harmony, rhythm and timbre. Music appreciation includes pure aesthetic enjoyment, imagination and association, and pure music appreciation. Symphony sprouted in the middle of16th century, that is, the heyday of the Renaissance, and it was not finalized until the end of19th century and the beginning of 20th century. Bach and Handel established the position of stringed instruments in the orchestra. The basic form of symphony was founded by Haydn and finally established by Mozart, and Beethoven made the symphony develop to its peak. Symphony in the modern sense refers to an instrumental suite played by a large orchestra, which is the highest form of musical expression, and it can express important themes, rich feelings and profound thoughts. From creation to performance, high skills are needed. Therefore, it is an important symbol to measure the cultural level of a country or nation. A symphony orchestra consists of four parts: 1, woodwind group (including flute, oboe, clarinet and bassoon). 2. Brass instrument group (including horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba). 3. Percussion instrument group (including timpani, cymbals, piano and harp). 4. Bow string instrument group (including the first violin, the second violin, cello and double cello). Symphony usually has four movements (but there are also three or more movements). The first movement is Allegro, written in sonata form, which is very dramatic; The second movement is Adagio, which takes the form of two or three parts. The third movement is Allegro, written for minuet or scherzo, with clear and lively rhythm and warm atmosphere. A symphony, played for about 40 minutes. In the course, we enjoyed countless wonderful music works, including symphonies, melodious chamber music, piano concertos and so on. And a jaw-dropping musical. Mozart's melancholy and desperate requiem, Beethoven's passionate symphony of destiny, Schubert's overflowing serenade, and Tchaikovsky's playful four cygnets always make my mind extremely excited or calm down. Music has such mysterious power. After getting along with symphony in the course, I was deeply attracted and began to love music more, especially symphony. Symphony appreciation class teaches us not only the music itself, but also how to face music and art as a gentleman and really calm down to feel and enjoy the passion and comfort brought by music. I really like this course and hope to have more opportunities to contact symphonies in the future.
