Collection Resources of Nanjing Forestry University Library

The library of Nanjing Forestry University has 10,000 paper books 165438+, more than 600 Chinese and foreign periodicals 1600, more than 700,000 Chinese and foreign electronic books (including master's and doctoral dissertations), more than 20,000 electronic periodicals 16000, and about 20,000 CDs. Order more than 30 Chinese and foreign databases, such as China periodical full-text database, China sci-tech periodical full-text database, China excellent doctoral thesis full-text database, Wanfang data resource system, NPC newspaper full-text database, China Forestry Information Network, Superstar Digital Library, Apabi e-book, OCLC e-book, Ovid database, EBSCOhost, PQDD, Springer-link, CA, BA, EI, etc. Featuring forestry, the collection of literature is one of the most complete libraries in China. It is also one of the designated collections of FAO publications. Regularly exchange information with more than 40 international academic institutions in the world, and often accept books from groups and individuals at home and abroad. 1996 introduces ILAS, an integrated library automation management system, which is all managed by computer automation. In 2002, the system was upgraded and the "Huiwen Document Information Service System" with stronger functions and more advanced technology was adopted. Books and periodicals should be fully open for lending, and the integrated service of collection, reading and lending should be implemented. There are more than 0/0 reading rooms and more than 900 reading seats, which are open for more than 90 hours every week. The library provides a variety of services, such as book lending, information retrieval, electronic literature reading, interlibrary loan and original text transmission, user education and training, subject consultation and novelty retrieval, and technical services.

1997 has established a library website, and its homepage provides rich online information services, and has set up dozens of columns such as collection information inquiry, electronic resources, subject navigation, resource download, teaching auxiliary library and reader's guide in more than one category of 10. Library homepage is an important window to fully understand and utilize library resources and services, and an important platform for communication between libraries and readers.
