The Journal of Ocean Engineering is an online quarterly magazine of IEEE Oceanographic Engineering Society (IEEE OES).
The magazine covers all aspects of science, engineering and technology related to the research, development and operation of all water bodies. This includes conceptual design, prototype, testing and operating system, and then the perception, exploration, understanding, development, use and responsible management of natural resources, as well as the creation of new capabilities and technologies.
Periodical scope:
Fluid dynamics: computational fluid dynamics; ; Vibration caused by eddy current; Fluid-solid coupling; Hydroelasticity; Linear and nonlinear wave mechanics; Buoyancy and stability; Ship resistance and propulsion; Navigation and control; Ship maneuvering, radiated noise.
Structural mechanics: materials; Limit state prediction; Fatigue; ? Fracture; ? Structural health monitoring; Collision and collision value, degradation.
Random calculation: random process; Safe and reliable; Risk and limit state design.
Experimental methods: instruments; Full-scale measurement; Model test.
Marine equipment: riser; Pipes; Ballast water treatment; Waste gas treatment; Underwater noise mitigation; And related components or devices.
Marine environment prediction-only applicable to the operation and design of marine structures and ships: extreme event prediction; Extreme statistics; Wave group; Short-term environmental prediction; The impact of climate change. Please note that broader environmental and climate models, sensors and data sets should be submitted to the Journal of Climate and Oceanography.
Automatic control of ship system: The papers submitted in this subject area should have practical value in shipbuilding and ocean engineering, and should include the verification of the results, preferably through full-scale measurement or model scale test, if not possible, through high-fidelity simulation. The method adopted in this paper should be verified under the condition of representing the real marine environment. ?
Publishing policy
This publication considers original works that enhance the existing knowledge system. Even if no new data/concepts are provided, the original review articles and surveys are acceptable. The results described in the article should not be submitted or published elsewhere. You can submit an extended version of the conference publication. Articles must be easy to understand and written in standard English.
Peer review: Peer review is very important for the quality of published research. Each article submitted to IEEE is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers selected by members of the publication editorial board. ? Learn more about the IEEE peer review process.
Publication fee: This publication is supported by subscription and applicable article processing fee (APC). Although it is free to publish through IEEE, the author may want to use some of our paid products; For more information about available options, please visit? IEEE author center? .
Errors in published articles: When the author finds errors in published articles, he should contact the editor-in-chief shown in the above figure and ask for correction. Please note that the original article cannot be changed after it is published on IEEE Xplore. Consideration will be given to discussing comments on articles in this publication or letters to editors. The author of the original article will have the opportunity to reply to comments or letters to the editor. Submit your comments or letters on editorial articles through the contribution at the top of the page.
