The Interim Provisions on the System of Registered Fire Engineers stipulates that all China citizens who abide by national laws and regulations, abide by professional ethics and meet the registration requirements for the qualification examination of registered fire engineers can sign up for the qualification examination of registered fire engineers of corresponding grades.
Among them, the application for the qualification examination of registered fire engineer shall meet the following conditions:
One is a degree. Applicants for the first-level qualification examination are college graduates or above; The applicants for the second-level qualification examination are technical secondary school or above. Academic degree certificates (including higher education self-study exams or correspondence courses) must be official academic qualifications or degrees recognized by the national education administrative department.
The second is the professional background. Considering the close relationship between fire fighting engineering and related majors and fire fighting work, combined with the characteristics and requirements of fire fighting professional technical work, the professional background of applicants is divided into three categories: fire fighting engineering, fire fighting engineering related majors and other majors.
The third is practical experience. Applying for registration as a registered fire engineer requires not only professional theoretical knowledge, but also some practical experience in fire safety technology.

Registration conditions for the qualification examination of Class II registered fire engineer:
(a) to obtain a secondary school degree in fire engineering, engaged in fire safety technology for 3 years; Or obtain a technical secondary school degree in fire engineering and have been engaged in fire safety technology for 4 years.
(two) to obtain a college degree in fire engineering, engaged in fire safety technology for 2 years; Or get a college degree in fire engineering related major and have been engaged in fire safety technology for 3 years.
(three) to obtain a bachelor's degree or degree in fire engineering, and to engage in fire safety technology for 1 year; Or obtain a bachelor's degree or degree in fire engineering related major and have been engaged in fire safety technology for 2 years.
(4) For those who have obtained corresponding academic qualifications or degrees in other majors, the working years of fire safety technology will be increased accordingly 1 year.
Exemption from examination regulations
Those who meet the qualification examination conditions of the first-class registered fire engineer in the Interim Provisions and meet one of the following conditions may be exempted from taking the examination of fire safety technology practice subjects, and only take the examination of fire safety technology comprehensive ability and fire safety case analysis.
(a) before 20 1 1, 12, 3 1, evaluate and hire senior engineers for technical positions; ?
(two) to obtain the qualification certificate of registered architect through the national unified examination, or the qualification certificate of registered engineer in various fields of survey and design. Those who have participated in the above-mentioned subject examinations for two consecutive examination years and passed the examinations can obtain the qualification certificate of a first-class registered fire engineer.
Examination textbook
There are three volumes of counseling materials for the qualification examination of registered fire engineers, including the practice of fire safety technology, the comprehensive ability of fire safety technology and the case analysis of fire safety, which are suitable for the candidates of the first and second qualification examinations. It is the only set of tutoring materials commissioned by the Fire Department of the Ministry of Public Security to be compiled by the China Fire Protection Association. This textbook was first published in 20 14, and revised in 20 16.
In order to adapt to the development of the situation and meet the needs of the majority of candidates and readers, the textbook was revised again in 20 18, and will be officially published by China Personnel Publishing House in July 20 18.
Review and identify the application materials
(1) Letter of recommendation from the administrative department of human resources and social security of the province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government or the central and the State Council departments and the personnel department of the central management enterprise (hereinafter referred to as the central unit).

(3) Copies of academic qualifications or degree certificates, letters of appointment for technical positions of senior engineers, letters of appointment for technical (project) leaders, employment documents for fire safety management leaders, award-winning certificates, patent documents, fire technical specifications and standards, fire technical monographs (content descriptions and home pages), fire technical papers, consulting reports and proof of research results and other related materials;
(four) the winners should be accompanied by certificates, personal certificates or official winners list and other valid certificates. If the certificate has not been issued or the list of winners has not been officially announced, a copy of the list of winners and the main award-winning documents of the unit in accordance with the number stipulated by the state shall be provided, which shall be signed and stamped by the person in charge of the unit.
(five) the professional ethics certificate issued by the unit, the certificate of the person in charge of the main project (technology) issued by the winning unit, and the certificate of the person in charge of completing the corresponding level of fire technical specifications or technical standards.
