How does the author write an introduction in a short passage?
If you pay attention, the author profiles of most books simply summarize the author's own basic situation in plain declarative language, such as gender, date of birth, graduate school, major, main achievements, service location and so on. Some award-winning authors can also briefly introduce the award-winning situation, and some authors with important social part-time jobs can also briefly describe one or two. In short, within the word limit of 120 or 3500, be concise. These contents should be the basic contents introduced by the author. It is convenient for readers to have a general understanding of the author before reading a book. In essence, this is also a basic form of dialogue and communication between the author and the reader. Honesty is its moral requirement, not making up stories to deceive readers in order to raise their status; Plain is its semantic norm, which is not exaggerated, obscure and difficult to understand, and does not write evaluation statements; Conciseness is its basic attribute, and in a few words, it strives to be the main one.

I leafed through the author profiles of several books. Just a few examples.

Zhao Yong's "mass media and cultural change" is written like this:

Zhao Yong, a native of Jincheng, Shanxi, has a doctor of literature. He is currently a professor at the College of Literature of Beijing Normal University, a full-time researcher at the Literature and Art Research Center of Beijing Normal University, the director of the Institute of Literature and Art, and a doctoral tutor. In recent years, he has published monographs such as Integration and Subversion: Dialectics of Popular Culture-Frankfurt School's Theory of Popular Culture, co-authored Rethinking on Literature and Art, and participated in writing and editing many books and textbooks. He has published more than 100 papers in China Social Sciences and other periodicals. At present, he is mainly engaged in the teaching and research of literary theory and criticism, popular culture theory and criticism.

Fu Shuhua's Snake Collection goes like this:

Fu Shuhua, a professor of Chinese Department in Teachers College of Shanxi University, has published more than 700,000 words in China Modern Literature Research Series, Lu Xun Research Monthly, Literary Theory Research, Contemporary Literature Exploration, Contemporary Literary World, Novel Review, Journal of East China Normal University, Guangming Daily and Wen Yi Daily. He has published a personal monograph "Shanxi Writers" and co-edited the textbooks "Contemporary Literature in China" (five volumes) and "Analysis of Lu Xun's Works" (three volumes) compiled by the State Education Commission.

Obviously, this is a descriptive introduction written by the author himself. It is not exaggerated, pretentious or arbitrary. Say one thing, say two things and seek truth from facts.

Look at the second autobiography of Wang Meng, A Brief Introduction to Wang Meng;

Wang Meng, a famous contemporary writer. He used to be editor-in-chief of People's Literature, secretary of the Secretariat of the Chinese Writers Association, president of the China Academy of Art, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and minister of culture of People's Republic of China (PRC). Since Wang Meng started writing at 1953, he has been tirelessly exploring and innovating, becoming one of the most prolific, dynamic and exploratory writers in the literary world in the new period. Representative works include New Youth in Organization Department, Long Live Youth, Active Adult, Butterfly, sound of spring, Season Trilogy, Collection of Wang Meng's Works (10), Wang Meng Wen Cun (23 volumes), My Philosophy of Life, and Awkward Romance. His works have won many literary awards at home and abroad. Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, member of the Standing Committee, vice chairman of Chinese Writers Association, vice chairman of China Branch of International PEN Center, and vice chairman of chinese association for international understanding.

Zhang Zhongxing old man's "Sang Yu Suo Hua" wrote:

Zhang Zhongxing, male, 1909 was born in Xianghe county, Hebei province, and 1935 graduated from the Department of Language and Literature in China, Peking University. Rigorous scholarship, wide interests, extensive reading, linking China and the West. Known as a "saint." He is the author of 6 volumes of Zhang Zhongxing's Collected Works, and prose collections such as Negative Xuan Suo Hua, Negative Xuan Xu Hua, Negative Hua, Liu Mengji, Liu Ying, etc., which have a wide influence.

There are some "evaluative" languages in the introduction of the latter two. I don't think it is necessary to write this kind of "talking to yourself". Of course, this may not rule out the addition of editors, but no matter who wrote the author's own book, such an evaluation language is very inappropriate.
