For example, in the design of curtain grouting for slope stability in Fushun open-pit mine, because the hydrogeological structure between Hunhe River and open-pit mine is unclear, considering that the seepage channel is on the east side, 2000m long curtain grouting is set on the east side. In fact, to the west, the thickness of pebble layer is still relatively large, and it has to extend to the west 1500m. Because the curtain grouting depth of dam foundation in many reservoirs is not enough, the dam foundation soil has been corroded, which threatens the stability of the dam. The reason is that the permeability of dam foundation is not clear when the dam is built. Now, the Daliushu Water Control Project has encountered such problems again. The rock mass of Daliushu dam site is relatively loose, with relatively high permeability and deep seepage zone, so the leakage problem around the dam is relatively large. Large leakage not only refers to the loss of water, but also refers to the potential erosion caused by leakage, which threatens the stability of dams and mountains. It is best to increase the depth of curtain grouting to solve this problem.
Curtain grouting generally adopts cement slurry grouting, which is suitable for the situation with large permeability coefficient of geological body; When the permeability coefficient is low, cement slurry grouting is not suitable, and chemical grouting can be used at this time. When using chemical grouting, we must pay attention to safety. Some chemical grouting materials at home and abroad are toxic and easy to cause environmental pollution, so we must also pay attention to this problem.
