The Wisdom Enlightenment of Tao Te Ching

Tao Te Ching is not only the most important classic of Taoism, but also an important treasure of human thought and culture. Tao Te Ching gives us such wisdom and enlightenment from the perspective of how to better maintain, develop and realize the sum of life, life and ecology:

First, maintain and develop the life wisdom of Taoism and nature.

The Tao Te Ching says, "People practice the earth, practice the sky slowly, practice the Tao in the sky, and the Tao is natural." Although everything in the world is rooted in Tao, Tao is "born without" to everything, and it does not interfere with the natural development process of everything at all, which is called "Tao is natural". Lao Tzu hopes that people will focus on meeting the natural needs of maintaining life and health, and don't pursue sensory enjoyment excessively, otherwise "five colors make people blind, five tones make people deaf, five flavors make people cool, and wild hunting makes people crazy", which will hurt life.

Second, maintain and develop a simple lifestyle.

Tao Te Ching said, "Be simple, be selfish and have less desires." Life is natural and simple at first, but as you get older, you will become stronger. Because of the breeding of lust and the entanglement of foreign objects, people are getting farther and farther away from simplicity and truth, and even lose their lives. So Lao Tzu said, "It's a pity to treat people." Teach people to pursue a simple and pure lifestyle and feel the spiritual life of happiness and poverty.

Third, maintain and carry forward the weak and indisputable spirit of life.

Tao Te Ching said, "The world is the softest and the strongest." The so-called weakness is not cowardice, but a spirit and character that can be unyielding and unyielding. Laozi said, "Weakness is better than strength." He also said: "People are born weak and die strong; The life of vegetation is also soft and brittle, and its death is also dry. " He warned us to be as soft as a baby, and the weakness and indisputable spirit of life will also promote the prosperity of all things in the universe.

Fourth, maintain and develop a quiet lifestyle.

Tao Te Ching said: "Quiet thinks that the world is right." Quiet can make people's body and mind get the best rest, quiet can make people's minds clear and their wisdom grow, and quiet can also help people stand on the world correctly and practice their ambitions. To maintain a quiet state of life, we must let nature do nothing, that is, be greedy and do nothing, be spotless in the world, be in harmony with heaven and earth, with nature and with light.

Fifth, maintain and develop a good life feeling like water.

Tao Te Ching said: "Goodness is like water, and water is the goodness of all things, so it is better than Tao." There is a good feeling that water is uncontroversial, invisible, colorless, round, washes away turbidity and dirt, moves at any time, is clear and empty, and benefits the public. It helps everything in the world without asking for anything in return, but it is invisible and colorless, but it can stick to its own quality. Truth without affectation, simplicity without affectation, clearness without impurity, and quiet life are the embodiment of Tao's character.

Sixth, maintain and develop the vitality of Zhi Zhi.

The Tao Te Ching said: "Knowing enough is not humiliating, knowing that it is not dangerous can last for a long time." Contented people should know that they can't enjoy all the blessings, power and strength. Zhi Zhi should know enough is enough, and establish a correct sense of accomplishment to avoid death. This requires human beings to fully consider the bearing capacity of the natural ecological environment and avoid over-exploitation of natural resources in the process of pursuing development.

Seventh, maintain and develop a tolerant life realm.

The Tao Te Ching said: "Know what is normal, endure for the public, the public is king, Wang Naitian, the sky is the Tao, the Tao is long, and death is not dangerous." Laozi told us to be as ethereal and peaceful as Tao, and to be inclusive, just like all rivers run into sea, regardless of details. In the real world, different people and races, different religions and cultures make up our colorful world. As long as we are tolerant, we can promote each other and prosper together.
