1. Give full play to advantages and highlight characteristics to further strengthen the construction of key petroleum disciplines. In the course of running petroleum universities for decades, petroleum and natural gas specialty has always been the key construction and support project of universities, with huge investment in all aspects, forming a number of national key laboratories and key disciplines, and building a number of key laboratories and research rooms at the head office level. Especially in recent years, in order to give full play to the traditional advantages of petroleum and natural gas disciplines, highlight petroleum characteristics, and continuously strengthen the construction and reform of petroleum main disciplines, the overall level of the main disciplines has been continuously improved, and the petroleum and natural gas disciplines of three petroleum universities have obtained first-class doctoral degrees, and the scale of high-level personnel training has been continuously expanded. Since1997 "211Project" was officially launched, the University of Petroleum has established six major petroleum disciplines. After the construction and development during the Ninth Five-Year Plan period, these disciplines have basically reached the level of national key disciplines and the advanced or leading level of similar disciplines in China, and some disciplines have reached the international leading level, and a number of high-level laboratories, engineering research centers and research laboratories have been established. Six key laboratories above provincial and ministerial level and PetroChina 1 1 Key Laboratory have been built, which has enhanced the ability to solve major scientific and technological problems, greatly improved the level of scientific research, achieved a number of landmark research results, and improved the scale and quality of high-level personnel training. In the second national key discipline selection in 20001,five major petroleum disciplines, including mineral investigation and exploration, oil and gas well engineering, oil and gas field development engineering, oil and gas storage and transportation engineering and chemical technology, were listed as national key disciplines. In 2002, the University of Petroleum (East China) started the second phase construction plan of "Project 2 1 1". According to the guiding ideology of "combining science and engineering, relying on advantages, rolling development, highlighting key points and focusing on innovation", the new goals of discipline construction and reform have been established, namely, focusing on the construction of geology and resources, earth exploration information technology and computers, and oil and gas wells. 2. Constantly reforming the talent training scheme of petroleum and natural gas discipline and perfecting the talent training scheme of quality education and innovation ability training system are the blueprints for the school to organize teaching activities and implement talent training, and are also the concentrated embodiment of the school's talent training objectives and training models. In order to meet the needs of social development for personnel training and implement the achievements of teaching reform, East China University of Petroleum revised the undergraduate training plan twice in 1997 and 2002. 1997 in view of the problems existing in talent training at that time, such as narrow professional adaptation, heavy burden on students, weak practical links and single training mode, the training plan was revised comprehensively and the 1999 version of undergraduate training plan was formulated. The plan consists of three parts: teaching training plan, auxiliary training plan and compound talent training plan. Because it not only attaches importance to the implementation of all-round quality education, but also emphasizes the overall planning in and out of class, advocates teaching students in accordance with their aptitude and pays attention to the development and perfection of students' personality, it has received good results in the past four years and effectively mobilized the enthusiasm of college students for self-conscious learning and independent development. In 2002, focusing on the reform and development trend of higher education in the 2 1 century, and centering on the talent training goal of "thick foundation, wide caliber, strong ability, high quality and multi-specification", the school organized and launched the revision of the 2003 edition of undergraduate training program. The new version of the plan was implemented among freshmen in 2003. Compared with the 1999 version, the 2003 version of the training plan further embodies the characteristics of "laying a solid foundation, broadening majors, cultivating abilities and developing individuality", emphasizing individualized teaching, paying more attention to the coordinated development of students' knowledge, ability and quality, and carrying out bold reforms and explorations in many aspects: (1) further emphasizes the overall construction of the training system and highlights the comprehensive quality of students. Coordinate the teaching and training plan, auxiliary training plan and compound talent training plan, so that the three complement each other and cooperate closely. (2) Pay more attention to and highlight the teaching of basic courses, reorganize the basic course system, build a basic course platform, and realize the opening of basic courses such as engineering, management and grammar. According to major disciplines; Reform, adjust and design the teaching content and curriculum system at different levels to realize the modularization of the curriculum; Some courses have been redesigned or integrated, such as adjusting "two courses" from 6 to 4. (3) Properly handle the relationship between strengthening foundation and highlighting characteristics, and strengthen the construction and exploration of professional characteristics. First, set up core professional courses to further integrate professional teaching content; Second, it is required to set up professional direction modules or series of courses as much as possible to ensure the appropriate depth of the specialty and the characteristic direction of the discipline. (4) Emphasize the infiltration of multiple disciplines, especially between arts and sciences. On the one hand, attach importance to strengthening the humanistic quality education of science and engineering students; On the other hand, it emphasizes the strengthening of science training for liberal arts students, such as trying to offer science courses such as mathematics, physics and computer in English and other liberal arts majors, and at the same time, it puts forward minimum credit requirements for science and engineering elective courses and interdisciplinary subjects. (5) Re-plan public elective courses, further develop curriculum resources, and enrich humanistic quality education courses, practical courses and courses for cultivating foreign language and computer practical ability. It is stipulated that science and engineering students should take at least 6 humanities subjects. (6) Further enhance the flexibility of the training plan, emphasize individualized training, and broaden the space for students to choose courses independently. The proportion of elective courses increased to 20% ~ 25%. (7) It well embodies the three "four-year consistent lines" of foreign language, computer and engineering training, increases a large number of comprehensive training and comprehensive design courses, and strengthens the cultivation of students' practical ability and innovation ability. (8) The auxiliary training plan systematically designs college students' extracurricular activities from six aspects: subject competition, scientific and technological activities and social practice. Students are required to obtain at least 15 credits of auxiliary training plan in addition to completing the credits specified in the teaching and training plan before graduation.
