Objective To evaluate the different effects of excimer laser corneal refractive surgery on intraocular pressure measurement in low, medium and high myopia, and to explore the "normal value" of intraocular pressure meter reading after corneal refractive surgery. The difference of tonometer readings between the two groups and its relationship with corneal central thickness and refractive power of corneal anterior surface were compared. All data were statistically analyzed by paired t test, correlation and regression analysis. Results The preoperative IOP values of the middle and low IOP group and the high IOP group were 65438 05.65438 09.89 mmHg (65438 0 mmHg = 0.65438 033 kPa) respectively. The postoperative results were/kloc-0 16.32±2.54 mm Hg and10.16 2.17 mm Hg respectively. There was no significant difference between them (P > 0.05). Before and after operation, the readings of tonometer decreased by 5.02±2.65438±0.00 mmHg and 6.65438±0.96 mmHg respectively. The central thickness of residual cornea in the two groups was 445 ~ 557 microns and 490 30 microns, respectively, with no statistical significance. The refractive power of corneal anterior surface after operation was 39. 18 1.60 d and 37.56 1.6 1D+0 d, respectively, with significant difference (P=0.00 1). The change of tonometer reading only depends on the central corneal thickness of low and medium dose groups, and its regression equation is as follows. The change of corneal central thickness is the main factor affecting the accuracy of intraocular pressure measurement. If the thickness of residual cornea after operation is the same, the readings of tonometer are basically similar. The range of 95% postoperative "normal reference value" was 6.38- 14.90 mmHg.
