Similarities and differences between British and American education systems
From the same aspect of the research on inclusive education in Britain and the United States, the two countries started early in the research on inclusive education, and both paid attention to the all-round development of children with special needs, so they could closely combine theory with practice in the implementation of special education. Both Britain and the United States attach importance to inclusive education and human rights. Education means that every citizen, whether ordinary children or children with special needs, should receive a certain education and should not be excluded from or isolated from education. Everyone has the right to education. Both Britain and the United States regard inclusive education as a major human rights issue from their own national conditions and political systems. They believe that being isolated from education because of disability or learning difficulties is just like being isolated because of race and gender, which is a violation of human rights. In the study of inclusive education, both countries have considered the relationship between inclusive education and parents' rights, which can be guaranteed by law. Secondly, both Britain and the United States attach importance to the combination of inclusive education and law, and a country's educational policies and regulations greatly affect the development level of education and people's quality of life.
