Home economics has not formed any home economics theory and academic point of view since its emergence and development. The existence and development of home economics is only to solve some marginal problems, but it has not really entered the mainstream development of the discipline, because of the lack of discipline awareness and discipline system. Home economics has never established its own discipline system in the course of development for many years, and the construction of home economics from the perspective of discipline is even less, which leads to the marginal position of being "expanded" by other disciplines. The key to the lack of awareness and weak discipline construction of home economics lies in its own discipline paradigm. In order to achieve a qualitative leap and enter the mainstream development, home economics must build its own discipline paradigm and enhance its philosophical foundation. Home economics explains the research objects and methods of home economics from the perspective of discipline, actively constructs the subject of home economics, injects fresh blood into the development of home economics, promotes the development of home economics, and realizes the transcendence of home economics. The philosophy of home economics should develop into the paradigm of home economics, and the development of home economics should establish its own discipline consciousness and construct its own discipline system under the paradigm of home economics philosophy.
1. paradigm and its position in the discipline?
"thomas kuhn emphasized that when studying science from a philosophical perspective, what matters is not the form of science, but its content. The focus of research should be on living concrete scientific theories, and how they came into being, developed and changed, and under what social and cultural conditions. " ? ① Science is regarded as a dynamic development model, and it is considered that the development of various disciplines should go through the development process of pre-paradigm stage, conventional science stage, scientific revolution stage and new conventional science stage. If a discipline wants to achieve dynamic development, it must enter the dynamic model, and the core of this dynamic development model is the paradigm. Paradigm is the interaction between human psychology, social culture and professional activities. Thomas kuhn believes that "paradigm is not only a sign of scientific maturity, but also a demarcation standard between science and non-science"? (2) Kuhn did not make a clear definition of paradigm, but Kuhn made some corresponding definitions of paradigm from Aristotle's physics and Ptolemy's astronomy, pointing out that their works have two basic characteristics. Their achievements have attracted a group of staunch supporters and separated them from the competitive mode of scientific activities. At the same time, these achievements are enough to leave a variety of unsolved problems for restructuring a group of practitioners indefinitely. Kuhn called any achievement with the above two characteristics a "model". ? This is Kuhn's most direct exposition of paradigm. Kuhn's paradigm discussion provides a research approach for people to carry out scientific research, and more importantly, it puts forward requirements and directions for the development of various disciplines. At the same time, it also enables researchers to form a self-made model of people's understanding from the free law of scientific development stage, and grasp the development of the whole discipline from a macro perspective.
Kuhn discussed the paradigm again in the book Necessary Tension. Kuhn pointed out that the word paradigm is very close to the word "scientific isomorphism" in practice and logic. Paradigm is something owned by a member of the same scientific system. On the other hand, it is precisely because they have mastered some paradigms that this scientific isomorphism has been formed, although these members are different in other aspects. ? (4) It shows that the paradigm is also a consistent belief and way of thinking of workers in a certain discipline, and the largest cognitive unit, namely a belief system, forms a consistent value standard with the general value system, and has a consistent scientific point of view. The greatest value of paradigm is that it is the ultimate standard to distinguish different disciplines. The unity of science is the main driving force of the whole discipline, which promotes the dynamic development of the whole discipline. The development of a discipline has its own scientific identity and its own foundation of existence. This shows the role of paradigm: 1. The introduction of the concept of paradigm will help us transcend the past, straighten out the reality, understand the relationship between phenomenon and essence, clarify the boundary between home economics and related disciplines, and find out which way to choose to achieve the goal of home economics research in China. 2. The introduction of paradigm can realize the regularization of housekeeping. "Conventional science" refers to "research based on one or more past scientific achievements, which are recognized by a scientific entity as the basis for further practice in a period of time." ? ⑤ According to Kuhn's understanding of paradigm, the essence of regularization is to be able to judge important facts in scientific research activities and combine theory with practice to explain practice; At the same time, it is also a means to find problems, solve problems and point out solutions. Paradigm is the premise to realize the normalization of scientific development, and the formation process of paradigm is also the process of scientific normalization. With the normalization of development, science can advance and develop continuously, otherwise it will be integrated or expanded by other disciplines and lose its self-development in the discipline group. 3. Paradigm is the cornerstone of theoretical orientation and system. The formation of paradigm is the formation of scientific isomorphism, which attracts a group of researchers to study in a well-defined and deep-rooted academic tradition, breaks the transcendence of traditional realization theory and enhances the communication context of dialogue with * * *. The establishment of paradigm can realize the integration of disciplines and the sublimation of theory, and the essence of paradigm establishment is to put forward a set of brand-new methods to discover and solve problems. ?
To sum up, we can summarize the basic connotation of Kuhn's paradigm as follows: paradigm is a way of thinking and a series of discourse systems of value judgment standards enjoyed by specific disciplines in a specific period, as well as paths and methods to find and solve problems in the practice of this system. In a specific subject field, it has universal identity and legitimacy, and it is not manifested as a specific theory itself, but as an internal abstraction of a theoretical group composed of different theories. The establishment of paradigm can make a discipline avoid the "expansion" of other disciplines and stand in the discipline group with a brand-new look.
