The statistical source periodicals of scientific papers in China published by China Institute of Science and Technology Information, also known as the core periodicals of science and technology in China, mainly belong to the natural science field, and are currently recognized as the catalogue of statistical source periodicals of science and technology in China. Entrusted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, its authority ranks first in China.

Chinese core periodicals are appraised by Peking University Library in conjunction with many authoritative experts in academic circles, and are widely recognized by academic circles at present. In terms of influence, its ranking is one of the more authoritative in the same category, and it is the most authoritative in academic influence except Nantah Core and China Science Citation Database (cscd).

2. Different selection methods.

According to the citation data of source journals, the evaluation indexes of various journals are standardized, such as total cited frequency, annual index of influencing factors, cited half-life, regional distribution of papers, number of funded papers, total self-citation rate, and sorted according to disciplines, influencing factors, total cited frequency and journal order.

In the quantitative evaluation of core journals, nine evaluation indexes are adopted, including the number of requests, abstracts, citations, other citations, abstract rate, impact factors, papers collected by important retrieval tools at home and abroad, and online downloads. More than 60 kinds of databases and abstract publications were selected as the statistical sources of evaluation indicators, and the number of statistical documents reached 2211770,000 (2006).

Catalogue of Core Journals in China

The Catalogue of Chinese Core Journals was jointly published by China Knowledge Network, China Academic Journals Network and Peking University Library Journal Work Research Association.

They are 1992, 1996, 2000, 2004 and 2008 respectively.

Note: Starting from the sixth edition, the catalogue of Chinese core periodicals has been changed to a triennial edition. The sixth edition is 201165438+February edition, which was released in March and April of 20 12.
