Selection of solder
Solder is often processed and shaped according to the specified size in use, and there are many shapes and classifications such as sheet, block, rod, strip and line.

Filamentous solder is usually called tin welding wire, and the center is wrapped with rosin flux, which is called rosin core welding wire. Commonly used for manual welding with soldering iron. The outer diameter of rosin core-spun yarn is usually 0.5mm, 0.6mm, 1.0mm, 1.2mm, 1.6mm, 2.0mm, 2.3mm and other specifications.

Sheet solder is usually used to weld silicon wafers and other sheet weldments.

Strip solder is often used in automatic chip assembly production line. An automatic welding machine is used to cut a section of strip solder for welding to improve production efficiency.

Solder paste is a mixture of solder and flux. When soldering, the solder paste is coated on the printed circuit board before soldering, which has been widely used in automatic chip mounting technology.
