7) You can import the reference format of database journals of EndNote or NoteExpress.

8) NoteExpress is convenient for importing references from VIP, Wanfang, CNKI and other Chinese literature databases. The software has corresponding filters, but the database endnotes don't.

9) Support online retrieval of Chinese books in Chinese VIP and National Library (Wanfang and CNKI Academy of Sciences have not opened this database, so online retrieval is impossible) and import Chinese literature data in batches. Endnote does not provide the corresponding settings.

B: NoteExpress software has the following shortcomings in this function:

1) It's a bit complicated for an individual to make a database filter, which is not as easy to use as EndNote;

2) The data format generated by database retrieval results is formulated by the developer of EndNote software, and there is no independent data format. NoteEpress software needs to select EndNote format when importing retrieval results from foreign databases.
