2. Generally, the picture size in sci papers is only specified in width, and the picture size can be adjusted by PS. Note that the unit is centimeters. Check the scale. For example, cell stipulates that the maximum file size cannot exceed 20MB, and data cannot be uploaded as a single file.
3.sci paper pictures have three color modes: RGB, CMYK and grayscale. If the paper is finally printed as a black-and-white picture, when submitting the picture, the picture should be set to gray mode, so that the printed effect will be better.
4. The resolution of pictures in 4.sci papers is related to the pixels of the pictures. For example, cell stipulates that the resolution of color pictures is 300dpi, that of black and white pictures is 500dpi, and that of Lineart pictures is 1000dpi.
5.5. The recommended fonts for pictures in SCI papers are Arial and TimesNewRoman. All legends should have the same font, not two fonts. As for the font size, if there is no clear requirement, the minimum size is 6 and the maximum size is 14.
6. The titles and comments of pictures in 6.sci papers cannot be written directly on the pictures. If there are numbers, letters and symbols in the picture, be sure to explain them in the comments.
