I participated in this speech contest on behalf of all the students in Class 0/2, Grade 2, Senior High School. People say, "Player No.1 is usually unlucky." But I don't think so!
Today, the topic of my speech is: Be a civilized person.
Lang Lang Gan Kun, a great China native, lived for one million years and produced tens of billions of people. Carrying five mountains with iron shoulders, opening the Three Gorges with giant hands, encircling the Great Wall of Wan Li at the waist, crossing the Yellow River with nine bends at the feet, and climbing the civilized flame, which has been passed down from generation to generation across the century.
We listen to the bell of the times under the bright starry sky, and we wait for the dawn in the long night. How many times, our hearts are surging; How many times, we have insomnia; How many times, we are all for this unusual day-the birthday of the motherland!
I remember someone saying, "It's easier to write than to do." We should always think: What are we doing? How are we doing? What kind of people will we be? "What kind of person? Everyone has his own answer, but there is a basic point behind every answer, that is: to be a man, we must first be an educated and civilized person. Without virtue, people will not stand, and without virtue, the country will not prosper. This shows how important behavior and morality are to individuals, to the whole nation and to the whole country!
A civilized person with quality and culture must have good manners. What is civilization? Civilization is the smile when we meet on the road, the enthusiastic help of our classmates when they are in trouble, the goodwill when we get along with others at ordinary times, the act of consciously putting garbage into the dustbin, and the initiative to stop someone from spitting. Civilization is a kind of quality, a kind of accomplishment, and an act that is respected and widely respected by all.
To be a civilized person, you must be able to use civilized language and do civilized things. Simply put, it is to be polite and reasonable. China is known as the "state of etiquette", and it is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation to be polite to others. Living in a happy era, if we can't inherit and carry forward this fine tradition, we won't really become a happy person. Everyone should remember the saying "Good words warm three winters, and bad words hurt people in June". Politeness is the easiest thing to do and the most important thing in life. It is more important than the highest wisdom and all knowledge.
So how can we become educated people? First of all, pay attention to personal gfd and manners.
Secondly, we should pay attention to the etiquette in public places. Campus etiquette is very important. In classrooms and dormitories, we should observe public order and not make noise. As a junior one student, it is very important to cultivate good civilized behavior habits. "Don't use small evils, don't use small goodness." Students, a little thing can reflect a person's quality and accomplishment. We should always be strict with ourselves, review ourselves, and strive to shape ourselves into a qualified middle school student.
Students, civilized etiquette is in our daily life, right around us. Civilization is the wind, which can blow every student's heart; Civilization is a flower, which can make our campus more beautiful. Let's start from small things, start from around us, lead the wind of civilization, create a civilized campus and strive to be civilized students!
