Generally speaking, small workpieces do not need preheating before welding. Large workpieces can be preheated at 100- 150℃ according to the plate thickness and workpiece shape. Because austenitic stainless steel is afraid of heat, it can keep warm after welding.
3. In order to ensure the quality of welded joints, I suggest not to use carbon steel covered electrode welding, but austenitic stainless steel covered electrode welding, such as Austria102,302, etc.
3. If welding stress is eliminated, post-weld heat treatment (tempering treatment) or mechanical vibration can be carried out to eliminate welding stress.
